...the best sample to take for ME3 players, amirite?
You don't need to have played the game to have an opinion on this. It's kind of like Tali's trial in ME2. There is a larger issue at play. Is a developers right to their own intellectual property absolute, or is the customer always right.
...or can the customer reaction persuade the owner of the IP to make changes themselves?
'Cause I think BW has that right, too.

Yes, I've already cited it multiple times. It should be a sticky.

Critical thought clearly isn't for you. Either you don't know what democracy is or are incapable of understanding my point.
Either way, you appear to be a bit simple.

You Retakers need to come clean, he figured you out. Now face up to it. I know you guys figured you were being all clever and stealthy by announcing -on a public forum in an open message- the poll. Thought they would never find out about it, but he saw through your subterfuge. He's wiley, this one.
The one thing I can't figure out though. You guys are the clear minority here, well at least that's what I hear. Why don't the rest of them just head on over to the poll and vote to counteract your devious ways? I mean, they outnumber you so greatly. Instead, they come and jabber at you. Hmmm ..... doesn't sound all that effective, but I'm sure they know what they're doing.

#1 Just because the non-vocal "majority" is not making their opinion heard does NOT mean they automatically like the ending. That logic is insane. The opposite is true as well. NEITHER side is qualified to make an assertion about the non-vocal group one way or the other. No, not even you BioWare.
#2 Do you know what it would take to setup a truly non-biased opinion poll? That would be an immense project. We'd have to find a large sample size (2000+) of mixed groups of people (video gamers, non-video gamers, etc.) with mixed ethnicity, cultures, genders that HAVE NOT played or even heard of Mass Effect before.
Then we'd have to segregate them from society and have 1/3rd play the entire series from front to back. 1/3rd would start from ME2, and the other 3rd would play only ME3 (half the players would import all the way through, the other half wouldn't). Before playing, half of the sample group would have to read up on advertisement materials released for the game featuring all the "promises" and such, and the other half would not.
Then and only then, would we get an accurate reading of what the average opinion on the ending is. My point is that we'll never get a completely unbiased poll, face it. All we can do is use the tools at our disposal, and the tools we do have seem to imply that the vast majority of interested individuals do not like the ending.

Since we are the minority, it shouldn't be difficult to the majority to beat us with this poll, right ? Oh wait, 83% think the end is "unacceptable".blacqout wrote...

It is called official unbiased polling. It seems your mind is unable to comprehend the nature of unbiased polls. So here is a ball in a cup for you to play with.IGSR wrote...
