CNET Mass Effect 3 poll

That the endings are reviled on a nearly universal scale is staggering.
That's why I'm hoping they'll man up and fix it.

Ha. Fecking 71%. 80 if we're counting the too bleak people.
Still a goddamned minority, huh?blacqout wrote...
Yet another example of the Retake movement troops being mobilised to manipulate yet another opinion poll.
Typical pro-ending lies. Why don't you go visit IGN or one of the other paid-for lapdogs?
Who says that i'm "pro-ending". I'm pro-Truth.
I can link to multiple threads on this forum highlighting polls on sites such as GameFAQ, asking people to "correct" what the movement sees as incorrect figures. Some Hold The Line drones even worked out that they could vote multiple times by clearing their caches.
You are a minority. You just use underhanded tactics to make yourselves seem larger than you really are. It's grown past pathetic.
The link to your diatribe about how Shepard "should" be blonde in your sig when red won in a perfectly fair poll pretty much negates anything you have to say on the subject; it shows how you'll rail against ANY poll that doesn't go your way. You know, not everything in life goes exactly the way you want it to.
Keep trolling, buddy.
I think you'll find that blonde won, and then after yet another fan outcry, fueled by misogyny and prejudice, BioWare caved in and changed it.
It's bad enough that they'd let that kind of thing influence the creative process once. To let it happen again would be too much.

However, after Bioware's insistence that only a vocal minority didn't like the endings, and their PR campaign to use the gaming press to attack people that didn't like the endings, I started making sure that my voice was heard, since my silence was apparently contributing to their false delusions that their endings were fine.

Can we stop arguing about this in every single thread?
The majority of the Mass Effect fanbase hates the ending. This is an established fact, regardless of your personal opinion. Conspiracy much?

CAUSE THEY ALL OBVIOUSLY LOVED THE ENDINGS TOO AMIRITE

I absolutely love this comment, because its singularly hilarious and not thought out at all, the title of the the thread is "CNET Mass Effect 3 poll" and the OP states "For those who care about things like this" or something to that effect.
He doesn't state his side, or which side he voted for or even have an ambiguious title that hints one way or another.
And somehow, someone manages to see it as a clearly biased post, to "rally the troops."

Basically what dbl219 said about the hair color poll. If this guy sees anything that doesn't go his way he will flip out and attack people on the internet.
Stay cool bro.
Again, if you followed the story you would be aware that originally a fair-haired Shepard was chosen. After comments such as "she looks like a barbie doll" and "she's obviously too concerned with her nails to worry about the Reapers" BioWare held a secondary poll.
Really, BW only have themselves to blame. They set a precedent back then, and the history is repeating itself.

I believe you honestly believe that. And technically it's true; you don't need knowledge of a subject to have an opinion on something, but that doesn't make it an informed opinion... by definintion. Instead, it's simply "I am going to project my own personal philosophy onto this issue."blacqout wrote...

You don't need to have played the game to have an opinion on this.

You don't need to have played the game to have an opinion on this. It's kind of like Tali's trial in ME2. There is a larger issue at play. Is a developers right to their own intellectual property absolute, or is the customer always right.
If you looked at the poll, you could see that it is directed at the people who played and finished the game.

Oh, and why not responding to the guy? At least it keeps the thread on page 1 ... to inform people on both sides (and those on the side of truth of course) on this poll.
EDIT: Although now it's getting a little too political, don't you think guys?

Extraordinarily well, actually. Since his rise to political prominance, the country's economy has improved significantly.
Though i've actually lived in West London, England, for the past six years.

I followed the story and actually paid attention to the times Bioware said the first poll was for face and the second for hair. The idiots that got uptight about the blondeness were the ones not paying any attention. And if blonde really was the most popular hair colour, don't you think it would have won the second poll?
