Basically what dbl219 said about the hair color poll. If this guy sees anything that doesn't go his way he will flip out and attack people on the internet.

Stay cool bro.

Again, if you followed the story you would be aware that originally a fair-haired Shepard was chosen. After comments such as "she looks like a barbie doll" and "she's obviously too concerned with her nails to worry about the Reapers" BioWare held a secondary poll.

Really, BW only have themselves to blame. They set a precedent back then, and the history is repeating itself.

I followed the story and actually paid attention to the times Bioware said the first poll was for face and the second for hair. The idiots that got uptight about the blondeness were the ones not paying any attention. And if blonde really was the most popular hair colour, don't you think it would have won the second poll?

That's simply not true. There wasn't any indication that the first poll was for hair style.

Do you honestly beleive that if the black Shepard had won, they'd have changed a thing? The institutionalised prejudice against Blonde women is sickening.

It's an issue that i care about deeply.

Whoa. that' a wipeout poll.

Funny thing, it was already wipeout in favour of ending change before BSN got its hands on it

Guess the general public really hates them that much

RedNanaki wrote...

You call them fans? Also, quoting Colin Moriarty... It does not add to your credibility. I did not attempt to insult you.

No worries mate, the insult goes straight on to him

It's all explained in the blog that opened this line of conversation.

Yet another example of the Retake movement troops being mobilised to manipulate an opinion poll.

How is voting honestly in a poll we've been made aware of "manipulating" it?  You make it sound like any democratic type of vote is manipulation.

Still ought to watch out for the radioactive isotopes. Even on the handler's end there are dangers from working with them

So giving opinions when asked for them is a no-no now? So I guess writing to my Congressman about why SOPA was a terrible idea and voting in the general election are off limits, too.

How much time have you spent on this forum, if you don't mind me asking. It's quite clear that the most vocal visitors do not like the ending one little bit.

Now, this poll has nothing to with the story or campaign, does it. It was posted in this forum to reach a specific group.

It would be interesting if you people would just let the intended voters have their say. We already know what you think.

There was a thread on it in the non-spoilers forum.

Sales were was down 74% in the UK in the second week, and down 80% in North America.

But I guess that's normal for video games from what the concensus said.

Still seems like a steep decline to me - would be in any other medium.

Well I would think, having gotten the attention of one of the top suits. That's a 'bottom line' issue right there.

If you're gonna talk about institutionalised prejudice you might want to bring up the fact that the caucasion won in a landslide before complaining that some people didn't like the caucasions hair colour

You don't need to have played the game to have an opinion on this. It's kind of like Tali's trial in ME2. There is a larger issue at play. Is a developers right to their own intellectual property absolute, or is the customer always right.

I need to refer this to someone who can better express my sentiment.

You don't accutally have to see something to pass judgement on it?  Are you high?

I think you'll find that blonde won, and then after yet another fan outcry, fueled by misogyny and prejudice, BioWare caved in and changed it.

Arguing about Shepard's hair color isn't the most convincing argument to make against misogyny.

Can we stop arguing about this in every single thread?

The majority of the Mass Effect fanbase hates the ending. This is an established fact, regardless of your personal opinion. Conspiracy much?

to quote Colin Moriarty:WHAT ABOUT THE 2 MILLION PLAYERS WHO BOUGHT AND PLAYED BUT COULDN'T BE ARSED TO EXPRESS THEIR OPINION ON THE INTARNETS

CAUSE THEY ALL OBVIOUSLY LOVED THE ENDINGS TOO AMIRITE

No, you are not right.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but not everyone feels they must express thier opinion on the "intarnets" .  Some do, some don't.  It doesn't mean they didn't have an opionon, it also doesn't mean you get to decide what that opinion is.

I'll say it again; sorry if I'm annoying:

Please let those who disagree voice their opinion. Let the poll do the work for you.
We're doing exactly what they want.

Stay calm. Hold the line.
