It would be interesting if you people would just let the intended voters have their say. We already know what you think.

No, you are not right.
I hate to be
the bearer of bad news, but not everyone feels they must express thier
opinion on the "intarnets" .  Some do, some don't.  It doesn't mean they
didn't have an opionon, it also doesn't mean you get to decide what
that opinion is.

Well, then let them speak up and be heard.

Otherwise, we go by what's available

We go by what is available.  Agreed 100%, and currently, what is available is a series of independent polls that show a majority of people were disapointed in the ending.  Image IPB

The polls aren't independent when the same people are voting on them.

It isn't the same group, not entirely.

Regardless, you're futily trying to agrue against an overwhelming consensus.

No, i'm right. Even the less conservative estimates of your numbers put you at far, far below half of the total number of Mass Effect 3 players.

Statistics.

They disagree.

Your comment makes it seem as though you oppose the inclusion of same sex relationships. That's not very progressive.

Nope, he's not opposing it at all, you're extraplolating an ad hominem from nothing.

Yet another example of the Retake movement troops being mobilised to manipulate an opinion poll.

Manipulate? One vote, one person. Anyone is free to come across the polls and vote.I really don't see how anyone is manipulating anything.

You do realize that when someone posts a poll on here, EVERYONE can see it, right?
So that same group (you know, everyone) is being mobilized. You're more than welcome to post it other places to get other people to vote as well.

Right, where is this mass of players comming to the defense of ME3 ending if we are just a minority ?

Who says that i'm "pro-ending". I'm pro-Truth.

I can link to multiple threads on this forum highlighting polls on sites such as GameFAQ, asking people to "correct" what the movement sees as incorrect figures. Some Hold The Line drones even worked out that they could vote multiple times by clearing their caches.

You are a minority. You just use underhanded tactics to make yourselves seem larger than you really are. It's grown past pathetic.

Nope, you're wrong. And even if you weren't, so what? The hordes of Tali fanboys got BioWare to change the game and so did the S/S crowd, and they were without a doubt a minority.

*sigh* You didn't bother reading my post earlier when i told you to learn about the Self-Report sampling technique did you?

The polls are generalisable (That's how polls work I'd like to add...) as the majority of those who play ME3 are casual gamers and just can't be bothered getting involved. If you had read my post and done what i said, you'd know this and understand that polls never include the majority of people it is aimed at simply because you can't poll that many people.

In the end no matter what you say the Pro-Enders will always be a smaller group then the Anti-Enders that's a fact, you'd know this if you've ever once paid attention to any gaming forum on the internet where this issue has been raised. Just complaining about it won't disprove that and it sure as hell won't win you any friends.

Once again I'm forced to call 'clearly a troll' on this guy

Since there is no way to have a "fair" poll in any medium anywhere, I have officially outlawed all forms of democracy until further notice. Thank you.

No, his language was quite negative.

"The hordes of Tali fanboys got BioWare to change the game and so did the S/S crowd, and they were without a doubt a minority."

That does not make it seem like he's happy about either occurance.

I didn't read your post. You might have noticed that i stopped replying to the racist. That's because i only talk to pleasant people.

If you could refrain from making petty little jabs and cut back on the name-calling, i'd be more likely to pay attention to what you have to say.

That's not the point.

There is no organised group of pro-ending people, that can be rallied to go and vote on every poll on the internet. What happens is that the same few thousand anti-ending people vote on every poll, while the only pro-ending people to vote are those that happen to stumble upon it.

Go cast your vote. Stop trying to tell people not to vote because their vote doesn't match yours. If you want to form your own movement to vote on polls no one is stopping you. I respect that you have an opinion, please respect that I have mine.

LOL.

"Retake movement troops"?

So wait, people that don't like the ending, according to you, shouldn't vote?  Because their opinions aren't real ones?

This comment on that article made me laugh:

"How many times can all these journalists get this story so wrong?
A Role Playing Game is meant to have multiple endings...not one E.g. one happy, one sad, one in between.
The media seems to imply that complaining about buying a car that only has one wheel rather than four is apparently also 'whining'."

It still amazes me that almost regardless of where the poll is the same figure of around 80% wanting a change emerges. I'd hardly call that manipulation of the figures but a reflection of reality and how badly the ending missed the point of the whole series.

Hold the Line.

Actually as pointed out earlier the results on the CNN poll were already 74%/80% against the ending before it was reposted here.

So there's that theory shot in the head whoooops the racist connotations in that turn of phrase
