what the heck. is the dog bugged or something? the vast majority of the time it says he brought me an item.. he brings me nothing. It says 'Paradise has brought you an item!' does the animation of him droping something at my feet, me picking it up.. then nothing. nothing in my inventory, no moneynothing. This happens pretty much every time, and recently thats all thats been happening i havent got an item in a long time

what gives? am i missing something, or is the dumb dog just bugged

or you are getting simple crafting parts/plants stuff.

no, it should give me an 'item' message even for that shouldn't it? Ive even checked my inventory and havent seen anything new, though its hard to tell sometimes since you cant page up without automatically deselecting new stuff.. very poor inventory system



anyone know whats up with this? its really bugging me now the last 10 or so times he 'found something' i got absoultly nothing

If he brings something that's stackable then it goes into the stack already in your inv. Thus, when checking your inv you won't see it at the top if you have 'newest' selected. So, he's probably bringing you elfroot or something. Be happy. Twice now he's brought me soiled silk pantaloons.

is there a way to check the stack? when you cycle through stuff it auto deselects. Hell is there a way to just display new items? the only way i can tell is it tends to have a yellow glow around it



want to make sure im actually getting some stuff in a stack

i tried moving eveyrthing to junk section, then spammed it till i got an item. did it twice and both time nothing appeared in the item sections



so what the heck is going on, is this just bugged or what?

Save up three of those and you get a big golem suit!

well i just tested it by destroying EVERYTHING and spamming it till he 'brought me an item' then checked. zip zilch nada in the inventory. Hasn't anyone else had this problem? this is definatly looking like a bug unless anyone has any other sugestions. where should i report this? the tech support forums here seem to be just for the users

My dog brings me real things and they go into inventory OK. You can go to the support section of Dragon Age and create a ticket.

The significant things I've seen so far are a piece of wood (which is a mage staff), gloves for zavran, and the pantaloons.

he used to bring me real things too. Have you ever got the message 'your dog has brought you an item!" but not gotten the little item icon and the name to pop up in the corner? If so you are not getting the item, unless your games different than mine. can someone test this on their game. Just sell every item and spam the dog to look untill you get that message without info on a sepcific item then check your inventory. Ive done it half a dozen times now and its been the same every time

are you refering to the DA customer support button on the bottom?

OMG. You mean the cake I got isn't significant?!


As for the items not showing up, I've not had that happen yet. Is it in areas where the dog has already plundered everything there is to plunder, I wonder?

thats possible, im talking about the message that just says 'the dog has found an item' and then you dont get the item icon in the lower left. I do the search a lot and lately thats all ive been getting.

you either get a message saying he found nothing, one with a 'unique' item and an item icon on the left, or, for me, the message he found an item and no icon/no item in inventory.

Thats why i want someone else to give it a try, go somewhere and spam search untill you get the message without the icon on the lower left and see if you got anything new

if it was just because theres nothing left in the area it should just give the 'found nothing' message

I've experienced the same thing. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to go to another area, test it and then go back and test again to see if it is an game time issue.

ive tried in in a couple different zones, recently i tried it in the town you find shale and back in lothering and got it both times.



so where do we report bugs to? just e-mail customer support? id think there would be a thread or something but dont see one
