for steam, i freaked out, i didn't get any codes at first ... if you right click on the game once it's released (not pre-loaded), it will have an option for view cdkey of game key or something about keys...

you will see 3 keys there. Two of them should have -'s in them, the 3rd will not. The one I had without cdashes is how I registered my game, the other two you copy and paste into this website on the left hand side; then goto profile - > redeem promo codes then enter them one at a time and be patient, the servers went really slow when I did it, but I let it just work and it was fine.

after that, I have everything unlocked I should have unlocked.

Hopefully this helped you Umnusman (i have the exact same pre-order digital deluxe you have)

edit: if it helps a bit further, I STILL have not received an email with the codes, but I did not need them because of the way I found them by right-clicking on the game entry in My Games on steam

Aye, that's my experience as well. However you mention registering your game for steam... where did you do this? I have not seen any request for that as of yet.

I found my cdkey in steam by right clicking the game and viewing the keys.  I took the key itself and copy/pasted into this site at profile->register games, then it asked me which game and I clicked dragon age origins - pc.

it asked me what the key was, this is where I pasted it.

The game itself did not ask me to register it, but I did it manually through this site.  I'm not sure if the game explicitly asks you to register the game on either steam or boxed versions... I just did it myself.

As for Collectors Edition vs Digital Deluxe, my bad :D I thought the Collector's Edition for boxed versions came with Warden's Keep.

In this case, I can not help you because mine was already added because of the Digital Deluxe version.

Aaaaaaand Warden's Keep just appeared for purchase about 30 seconds ago.

Apparently the servers must just be getting HAMMERED.

yea
it would be safe to say their servers are probably taking alot more
load than they expected.  As with almost any new game launch especially
one with as much media coverage as possible, the first week or so will
be fairly rough on their servers.

Obviously since this is not a
multiplayer game, they don't have to worry about servers for gameplay
in the same sense, but all their download servers I'm guessing are
horribly bogged down.  Took me almost an hour to download all three of
the addons.

FYI - when inputting codes for extra swag if you have the XBOX 360 version load the game first and at the start menu select downloadable content. After inputtingthe code(s) it should read "purchased". Click on the "purchased" and select download. This will then download to hard drive. Start your game and items will be un-locked.

Also, when you have party members with you once you level up check their status and upgrade them if available.

OK, I got the BDA for my PS3 (at least it's listed in the DLC section of the main menu). Here's how I did it.
First , On MY PC, while the game is running on the PS3 and the game is logged to this site on both, I registered the code on my PC in the redeem promo code section of my profile. It didn't register right away, but after closing down the game, and then re-starting, It finally showed up as purchased. Now as to how I can actually access it in-game, I have yet to discover.
UPDATE: After restarting the game, and double-checking in the DLC section of the main menu that the armor (and the Stone Prisoner as well) were lised as purchased, I then selected the item, hit the "X" button to download, it bips over to the PSN store where I then proceed to DL it, exit the PSN store after completion,it bips back to the game, which automatically restarts, the armor is now in my character's inventory. Unfortunately, I'm not sufficiently powerful enuff to use it yet, but at least I have it now. Now all I need to know is when I'm getting my pre-order bonus items from Amazon.com.
The mistake I made in the beginning was, I thought the instructions on the rave card when it said log onto the site's redeem code page it meant thru my PS3 (which you can't do), and of course now I realise that assumption was wrong. They should have made it a little clearer you need to log on using your PC to enter the code.

Ok I have the bonus items downloaded but they are not installing no matter what I do. I have logged out and in multiple times and restarted the game multiple times. Also I am playing the Digital download copy. I did notice it says game version required 1.0 in red? Is the Digital copy maybe not working becuase of that? If so that really blows. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Having the exact same issue and I didn't get the digital version.  They show as downloaded but not installed, and the version # shows as red.

Quick question regarding the DLC for the Xbox 360. Cruising through some off-site threads I've seen other having problems with the achievements for the DLC being glitched. They don't show up on Xboxlive.com, nor do they show up when I am not playing DA:O. What appears to happen is that the four achievements unlock, but stay glitched, in so much that they do not appear on any list outside the game, furthermore even in the game they show that they are unlocked but do not add to one's gamerscore. I was wondering if there is a patch in the works to fix this, as the current consensus is that if you unlock them while they are glitched, after the patch you will be unable to reunlock them. As such I've been holding off on getting Shale or heading to the keep at the moment.

Got the impulse version. Installed the game and entered my codes from in game, and they didn't show up on my downloads list. What's wrong?

I have the same exact issue. Pre-purchased from Impulse, received my codes in an email. When I entered the codes, they seemed to have worked, but when I fired up the game, there was (and still is) no DLC to be found....

If you have to PC version (and perhaps other versions) refresh the downloadable content screen.

*EDIT* I've just found out you can buy add ons through the game, once it's installed. My bad.

On a TOTALLY unrelated note, when I opened an account on these forums, I've got impatient while choosing a forum name. Is there a way to change it? There doesn't seem to be any editing options for my forum name.

You get taken to the page to buy it/points in-game. Just start up the game and click downloadable content menu item and you should see the options from there to add points.

I just wish you could use ea station cash to buy bioware points since I have some just sitting there currently

Hi guys.

Im here to ask a question if its ok since it seems theres much hanging in the air in here. -hehe-

I was thinking about the Wardens Keep Add-On, since I ordered the CE Box, I wont get that with it. I have never paid for content before, but used Microsoft Points before.

I read that 360 will be able to get it by Microsoft Points, while PS3 and PC will have to buy it for $7. But heres the thing... I got Fallout 3 for PC and used Microsoft Points there to download content. So I wonder, is it possible to use Microsoft Points for the PC version, or is Fallout 3 1 of a kind to do that? -hehe-

Why does the UK DDE version of DragonAge have lesser items than the ones offered on the Bioware website?

Chest piece shows up in your inventory straight away, the rest is waiting for you at Bohdan's shop in the party camp.

Make sure you link your gamertag to the EA account (your user/pass used here on social). Then go to the Downloadable Content option off the main menu.

Enter in your promo codes there (press Y to Redeem EA Code). You should also see Warden's Keep listed there as well.

Thx for the info, bought it through steam and was wondering where the hell my extra content was, LOL - thought it was delivered in the initial download.

Cheers! :wizard:

By the way, this game is awesome! :alien:
