I got the redeem codes in a mail after two days. But I cannot get the EA downloader to download the content. It is visible in my profile here on the site. The downloader does nothing and in game I see no updates or downloadable content.

I cleared the cashe as suggested. No progress. The ea downloader claims my internet connection disconnects.

I've downloaded the stone prisoner and blood armour, but... where are they? I disconnected my game from the internet before I started, is this the problem? I reconnected but nothing. I did get a drake armour quest, is that it? I thought you get the armour from the start?
I mean, i'm out of Ostagar and I still haven't managed to find out where to find shale, owell, i'll have to keep looking I guess.
I'm playing the xbox version.

I am a silent fan of Bioware and their games I am very happy with every single game which is created by them.
But today I have a dissapointment which I want to share.

There are several game add-ons available right now which were also available on game release. Shouldn't they included in retail game as well as DD versions.

I know the developers and publishers need and deserve some extra cash but these add-ons were already made.
I feel like they thought:

"ok we made a good a game... it's too good, so we can keep some parts of it to sell later."

I could happily understand if these were made 3 months later. But at the release date... I don't know.

there will be some people who will try to defend Bioware while flaming at me by saying "do you know how much afford does it take to make a game ?"... my answer is "yes" because I am also a game developer.

I am only upset because of this marketing trick. I have never felt any sadness before. Since the release date of the first Baldur's Gate game for PC.

I will go and buy a Digital Collectors Edition with a bitter sentence in my mind " They became a part of the system after all of these years. "

it's my opinion. I hope I can get some respect for my opinion and my post could stay in this thread without being deleted.

anyways, Thanks everyone who contrubuted this great game except the one who come up with with this DLC concept.

Today I got a retail Collectors Edition which doesn't have Warden's Keep. After playing a while I felt the same good feeling which I had looong time before, when I first played the original Baldur's Gate... I felt and still feeling so good ^^, and my anger about these DLC sales startegy decreased a little bit thanks to the great quality of the game.

Okay I downloaded the Shale quest and it says it's enabled in the "Downloadable Content" area in the journal section. My problem is that the Shale quest doesn't show up in the quest journal. Am I doing something wrong here?

Just because I would rather be playing the game rather than reading through all 22 pages of this thread, I am wondering if purchasing the points and getting the DLC you didn't get with your version of the game works?

I got my game at Gamestop in WA and I have the Feral Wolf Charm, the Ring, and the Stone Warrior. I would also like that Armor and the Keep DLC.

Thanks for your help.

Just finished both and I reakon there both well worth it. If you don't already have it, grab it. The armour from Warden's Keep is sweet.

I noticed the Blood armor in my inventory at the start of the game .Playing the dwarf noble origin. After being exiled I noticed the armor was gone.Is this a glitch or do you just have to lose everything including the blood armor when you are exiled ?

Those of you who do actually have dragons armor, and all that stuff, how did you get it?

Was it already in your inventory from the start, or did you have to find the items.

If you had to find tham, where did you find them?

Those of you who have obtained all the dlc items in-game, how did you get them?

The armor itself starts in your inventory.  But the helm, gloves, and boots are all on a vendor in your camp later in the game.

They all require 38 strength anyways, so don't be expecting to wear them from the start.

Hello all I'm new to this forum but am no stranger to BioWare's amazing games!

I was just wondering about the dlc with the dragon armor, I've redeemed it for my PC version of DragonAge but I plan to get Mass Effect 2 for the Xbox, will that code still apply for that also or will it only work for a PC version of ME2?

Many Thanks

I honestly don't like the blood dragon armor. :(
But that's only because I can't wear it until I have 38 strength!!
:P

Make sure if you are encountering any issues to please post in Tech Support forum, there's more eyes on that and a lot of these points are already covered there, many with solutions.

Quick responses for what I can remember...

Losings items at end of Dwarf Noble - there's a solution at help.dragonage.com This is a bug on PC which we will address.

Getting to Warden's Keep, or Stone Prisoner - you need to get past the village of Lothering and be able to travel on the world map in order to get to these areas. Once you speak to the quest givers for these (Levi in party camp, and Felix at Sulcher's Pass respectively) those quests should open up. Make sure you check the DLC tab of the journal for info, or the quest tab once it has begun, for where to go.

DLC not appearing at all - this is most likely the in-game content updater service not running, which was either an installation issue or in some cases certain configuration of Windows. See the support threads for help - there's a lot of suggested and official posts on how to resolve this.

Codes not working. Make sure DLC codes are redeemed here in the code redemption page (under your image on the left, select Profile - (Redeem Promo Code). These codes are completely separate from your game/CD key, so don't try to use them on the game registration page. Also, for some digital customers, there was a delay getting the DLC codes emailed out - this should all have gone out now and new purchases shouldn't have that problem. Contact your digital retailer if you did not get the DLC codes for content in your appropriate version.

Also, DLC is downloaded directly from within the game only using the updater service. If you have a separate digital game downloader (such as EADM for versions purchased on the EA Store), this is only used for downloading the game itself - trying to use DLC codes on that will not work, redeem them here on the site and then go in-game to download.

Many of the promotional DLC items (such as the rings and Blood Dragon armor) are not visible in the game DLC screen on purpose - these will only appear once the codes are redeemed. Once downloaded, most will appear in your inventory straight away (whether you load a current save, or start a new game) - some later game items will be waiting at Bohdan's shop in the party camp.

^and if it wants you to pay points for The Stone Prisoner that was claimed to be free with the game, what then to do?

Stone Prisoner is $15.  To get it for free you need to redeem the code here on social or in-game on consoles - what platform are you on?).

Once redeemed, check your http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php to confirm if it is listed there.  Then fire up the game, login with the same user/pwd used here on social and the free version should be available for download.

Is it too early to start asking about the next downloadable content? I must admit, I'm eager to see more stuff added!

I like that the attribute requirements for some of the more powerful items in the DLC require a higher level character to use them.  I feel like I'm cheating if I'm completely overpowered at the beginning of the game.
