I know this is probably not the place to say this, but the search bit on the forum doesnt work for me, and i've tried on 2 different computers, and different browsers as well.



Basically, the Lucky stone ring that you get for uploading a character, i still dont seem to have it. I would like to point out that i actually installed the game on a different computer than where i made the characters, but that shouldnt matter as it's the account that the ring gets added 2. I may have missed something however. If anyone knows where i get the lucky stone, i'd be truely grateful



Just installing DA on my laptop at the moment, which is where I made my characters. Will i get the ring now?

Make sure you're posting issues in the tech support forum (and check if the existing solutions from there may apply for you).



Where is the code for armor/stone prisoner/other promo item?

- pre-order bonuses are provided by the retailer. Usually on a flyer or some sort of handout with the codes on it when you pick it up in store, or shipped to you, or emailed for digi versions.

- stone prisoner, blood dragon armor and CE items are in the box itself. Or emailed from retailer for digi versions.



Someone asked about entering codes and not given points. The codes will give you the items themselves, not points to purchase. To confirm your codes are correctly attached to your account check the Registered Game Promotions here on the social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php).



If you are having trouble redeeming codes - make sure you check out the walkthroughs at(dragonage.bioware.com/addon)



How to get the lucky stone - you just need to have uploaded a character from the stand alone character creator on to social. You should see the stone at the registered game promotions page (see link above) if that was successful (in addition to your character being visible on social).

ok DLC shows up in my profile registered DLC tab, but not in game. is there a problem with the DLC servers or something?

in game refreshing does nothing.

tried running daupdater as adminstrator but it doesn't seem to do anything helpful. when running daupdater it says cannot connect to local control server for daupdatersvc. is the service running.

checked my exception in the firewall and both DAO and daupdater are excepted.

Try to run 'daupdater.exe' as Administrator.

>> Dragon Age folder/bin_ship/daupdater.exe

Right-click it and open Properties, on the second tab check 'Run program as Administrator'. Press Ok and exit.

Start game.

I had exact same problem with the DDeluxe version from Steam.

My question is will the dev's sticky a tread wit the solution found by players for all those glitches with redeeming, donwloading, authorizing etc etc. I think we are entitled to it.

this doesn't seem to work for me.can't check the box that says run as administrator in the properties for daupdater. probably because i am running with UAC off. when i try to run daupdater, it says somethign about not being able to connect.

Like you say Fernando, I have the "registered game bla bla content" on the social.bioware.com site however NOTHING appears in the game and I still have no idea how to fix it :/

Also btw, whats with all the different accounts? Sometimes I get redirected to EA and sometimes to this site. + I got the steam account as well as the in-game account made. I feel severly confused lol.

Can anyone tell me when the new camp is unlocked for it? I defeated both missions there to help Levi and get the Stash, do I just come back later when Levi's family arrives???



And does it replace the Party Camp or just add a new location to visit as camp?

to those who have trouble starting the game  when downloaded from ea games downloader.

had a similar problem as i was downloading from the ea downloader... all i had to do was run it the first time from the download manager and then it worked, tried everything else and got the message "could not connect to EA core"

i don't know about the steam download.... but maybe try and run the game from there at first...... only know about the probs i had with the ea store download version

The keep in the add-on when we complete the quest line are we ever allowed access to the Keep itself again or just the court yard?

What else is there specifcally with the Stone Prisoner, 1200 MP and so far only a very short quest with a decent new party member.

Does anyone know where the DLC files are found?



I always like to burn downloaded files into a CD in case I have a HD crash or need to reinstall my OS, I don't have to go looking for the files online again and downloading them again from the beginning.



I would like to burn either the installer which is downloaded after I purchased the DLC or the installed files themselves.



If anyone could let me know where I can find either of those sets of files and how to identify them, I'd really appreciate it.

I have a problem, and it seems like 2 other guys have it too, but i can't see any solution. I bought the game and entered my codes (blood armor & shale) at

And true, it shows up at

Both of them, but thats it. They doesn't show up at 'Downloadable Content' in the game and i can't use any of them. I did redeem the codes at the same computer as i'm playing on, and i was logged in with the correct e-mail/username, as it shows up at the site, as said before. What do i do? I have no clue.



Also, to get the lucky stone? I made a character and tried to upload it, but the uploader only keeps going and times out.

I have a question about the Warden's Keep quest... (I would post this in the spoilers forum but I can't for some reason)

*POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD*

There were 3 pieces of history to find for one of the quests. I only found 2, a statue outside of the keep and the dead guy impaled on something. Now the keep is closed and the Dryden family have taken up residence. Will I ever be able to complete this quest?

The Stone Prisoner is definitely the best piece of release day DLC, Warden's Keep was.. eh... average, but TSP was awesome, the level of integration with the main storyline (I had Shale with me for the entirety of Orzammar, and I didn't regret it once, she rocks) was brilliant, and the character was well developed.

If future DLC are of the same level of quality as TSP, then this game may be one of the few to ride that chimera properly.

I was wondering if there is any official word about working on a fix for the bugged xbox360 dlc achievements (that being if there were earned prior to last friday, they do not show as being unlocked -- and all attempts to recover gamer tag/re-earn the achievements do not seem to work).



Not sure if this is the right place to ask that but I cant seem to find a thread about it even though I know this is a widespread problem. If someone could point me in the right direction to said thread I'd be most appreciative

Very strange question, but I would like to know.

My friend still has his Blood Dragon Armor key, and is willing to give it to me, one problem, his key came with his Xbox 360 version of the game, and I have the PC version of the game, I'm wondering if it would still work with my version or not? I know that the code is supposed to work cross system for ME2, just wondering if it does the same for Dragon Age, especially as he doesn't live anywhere near me, and I want to know if he should send me the code or not.

I bought the DDE of the game, so I got all the DLC. I downloaded it and started playing. I went and picked up Shale the first thing I did, and that's were I quit last time.



Yesterday, my little sister started to play the game. She created her own account so that she could get her own achievements and so on, and began her journey as a mage. Today, when I started up the game to play myself, it says that "my account is unauthorized" to access most of the DLC, the Stone Prisoner being one of them - effectively locking me out of my own save.



How can I be "unauthorized" to access the content I've bought myself? I mean, this site has registered the redeemed codes on my account.



I guess that it has something to do with my sister creating an own account. But shouldn't the content be locked out of THAT account instead? And why can't we create separate account and both use the content I've paid for? It's not like I'm pirating it; we just want to earn separate achievements (when locked, they're "secret" for a reason).

Hello. First, i apologize for my horrible level of english, is possible that i can,t understand you very well...

I want to ask for the sistem of "points". I have the collectors edition, and i,m interesting in the adventure of "wandern,s keep". I see in my game, in dowload content, the option to buy it for 256 points.

How can i win points????????. I don,t see this information, or i can understand it, if it is here.



Another thing: i had donwload a lot of items like the memory ring and more, but in the download section, i can,t download the pack of 3items of my collectors edition!!!!. it say all time "downloading", but it be all time in 0%. And i put it to download a lot and a lot of time; hoursand hours. Can it be an "error"?. the rest of the things had been downloaded perfectly and quickly.
