I imagine this will you will get a code when you purchase (or recieve as part of your purchase) DLC. You then enter that code on this site while logged in as your account (which is linked to your registered copy of DA. Then I guess it will upload in game as long as you are logged in, or possibly you will have to download and install it separatly (as per Falllout 3 DLC) so it is then available in game...
Just my guess... You can alredy see on this site where you register the game and enter promo codes...

Oh, not the only one? Do you mean there's more unlockable loot besides Embri for completing Dragon Age Journeys?Fernando Melo wrote...
Ah, good question, missed that one.
I'll re-confirm, but it will either present you a unique code and you redeem it here on the site, or it will be like the character creator upload where you login to the flash game and it will auto-add it to your account, and next time you login to DA:O it'll be there for you. Embri's is not the only 1

Actually, the DLC they have available at launch are either bonus for the Digital Collector Edition (Warden's Keep) to compensate for not getting a cloth map and some other goodies, or an incentive to buy the game new instead of second-hand (Stone Prisoner and Armour).vyvexthorne wrote...
I really don't understand the point of DLC's that come out at the same time as the game. Why aren't they included with the game in the first place? Is $50 or $60 dollars no longer enough to pay for a game without adding extra nibbles to my pocketbook? Most will give the answer "Well nobody is forcing you purchase them." But really.. Unless you want to wait for the goty version of the game which will most likely include everything at a reduced price you are kind of forced to purchase these things because obviously the people who purchase them don't have the willpower to wait a year to play the game. It just feels like it's kind of a rotten practice that will continue to get worse and worse as it becomes more "normal" to do. Little nibbles here and there don't feel like much until you look back and realize how much you actually spent just to play one game.
Frankly, developpers have come up with two solutions so far to curtail the second-hand market (for which they don't get any money), incentives or restrictive DRM like in Mass Effect. I, for one, vastly prefer the incentives, but maybe that's just me.

Warden's Keep is available to all platforms. The Digital CE will have it for free because you can't download Tin box and Cloth map.
Also this explains why there is same day DLC.

DLC looks good... I want retail, so I will have to buy the $7 DLC, but that's fine as long as it is worthwhile.

Is this guaranteed for ALL countries (UK included) ? There is currently a lot of confusion with several people who contacted their UK retailers (who told them that no, these DLC items would NOT be included). As the UK is the exception to the rule in several of the other content cases you gave here, is it possible that Stone Prisoner and BDA are not included in the UK normal version?Fernando Melo wrote...
Any version - normal or CE or Digital Deluxe includes a code for:
- The Stone Prisoner
- Blood Dragon Armor (for DA & ME2)
Still not possible to get actual confirmation on this?
Sure, theres loads of posts stating that it appears in all boxes but nobody has actually given a definite "yes" or a "no" about the Dragon Age: Origins UK content. And with the amount of posts questioning this its amazing that nobody has given an answer one way or the other.

Hopefully more people will buy it from the store instead of second hand or torrents and it will be enough of a success to guaranty a sequel.

I'm guessing that nobody actually knows for sure. It took ages to sort out the CE box/map mess, and I think it was dbankier that got a reply from EA customer support that pretty much said "we don't know". All in all, it seems like EA should hire a bunch of chimps to work in their UK branch - it couldn't be any more of a shambles than it is at the moment.

The thing that concerns me the most is this link. It states 'only available when you pre-order digital deluxe edition.'Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.
I apologize for the delayed response and do apologize for the inconvenience that might have caused to you. However, we'll not be able to confirm which retailer is providing you the offer with the game. I would recommend you to please visit our official site for further information regarding for offers on purchase of Dragon Age Origins.

Are we supposed to get an email about that? Because... well... I haven't.Fernando Melo wrote...
Regardless of all of the above:
- When you upload your first character using the Character Creator on to social, you also get another item

EDIT: Found this over in the Character Creation forum and it pretty much answers the last two questions so...

Relax folks. There likely is a backlog of emails to go out, it'll come - also, make sure you check your spam filters etc.
The ring itself is not tied to a code. It is added to the account you use here on social (or more correctly, what account you used to upload your character to social with).
Log into DA:O with that account and it'll be there waiting for you.
