That is what i tought too.
I hate when people say "give us credit boost" because that doesn;t make sense. It could happen, but is very unlikely. The point of this tasks is to make us play every part of the game. People were afraid of reapers on silver and gold, so we were offered reward if we beat it. Many people are not promoting their characters, so we will get rewards for doing it. Preparation for next week will make us play all classes.
People are focusing on rewards and want them for free. Instead, they should understand reason for objectives.
I dont think.. Reapers are hardest then Geth and easiest is Cerberus

I would hope so. I was so annoyed to see the Eagle in my pack and not the Valiant.

I don't believe it is working properly on LIVE. I normally get about 215k - 230k xp a game. So during double xp shouldn't I be getting 430k xp not 290k xp? .....
It is not "double" XP, it is an additional 25% added on to the total amount after the game. I did not notice an increase so I do not know if it is working on Xbox Live.

Now I'm bored of playing all my non-favourite classes. There's a reason none of them were at 20. Everything but soldier there now, but damn I'm bored of them.
It took me an hour before I went back to my standby classes. The (mildly) annoying thing about having a class you love is that these events don't really cater to him. If I love him at level twenty, I'm probably not going to reset that. Give me more weapons for my high weight Krogan, not more XP.
Not coincidentally, I love the new Veteran packs now.

With Reaper forces beaten back, relief efforts are under way in the newly-taken territory.
During this period, Reaper enemies will be severely depleted and there will be far fewer brutes than usual.
All players will get +25% experience over the weekend as Citadel Allied Command reviews the lessons of Operation Goliath and uses them to train new forces.
Uh-huh. I just had four brutes in one wave, silver-challenge. They must have missed the memo.
But the weekend-challenges are pretty nice nonetheless, I'm having a lot of fun.

Interested in this too. Have four classes to promote already, wondering if I even should bother with other two.McScroggz24 wrote...
Does anyone have an idea if PS3 players will be able to participate in next weekend's event? I wasn't able to for Operation Goliath :/

It really gets on my nerves that they curse Bioware and all it stands on when clearly - according to the Bioware information and there is no reason to question it - the fault lies with Sony which is paranoid about information retrieval. Understandable given the hacks it endured.
So PS3 users, chill the bloody hell out.
OT: Quite liking this, gives some continuity to the Goliath challenge and cannot wait to see what promoting will give.

It is not added after the game. It is added to each kill.
And yes, it is working on xbox live. Playing bronze is netting the kind of xp that silver usually gives.

I was wondering this as well... if we don't get included in the promotion weekend, that makes the bonus exp weekend fairly pointless.
Not that I don't appreciate the exp, It'll help me level the classes I really don't enjoy that much, but It's a lot less useful if we won't get the promotion bonuses next weekend.

All the people who are spewing hate at Bioware for PS3 being left out of Goliath should sit back and think for just a second. And then read the forums. Then think again.

I tried to contact Sony regarding the issue as EA says to contact Bioware via these forums and Bioware says it's Sony's issue. The response I received is posted in the topic below.
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/346/index/10434370/1#10613550
Sony basically states that Bioware and EA are responsible for the state of their game.
PS3 users are frustrated that there has been no clarification on the issue as well as if or when it will be resolved. I personally am frustrated because I was sold a copy of the game without being told that I would not be receiving support for events that two other versions of the game get to enjoy. If I knew that, then it would be on me to choose which version of the game to buy; the supported version or the unsupported version. I paid for the complete Mass Effect 3 experience and I'm simply not getting it. That is the issue here.

I finished off my soldier yesterday, and got my adept from level 6 to level 20 as well. Hopefully whatever next week's challenge is won't require us to promote all six classes to be eligible:P.
