Is anyone else getting major sound clipping during really heavy battle moments? At first I thought it was the new surround sound system I bought just for this game, but then I ran it through my TV on low volume with the same issue. It almost seems as though some graphical lag accompanies the sound static/clipping as well. Most prominently I see it (spoilers)...
While saving the Quarian Admiral, going to get Eve from the Salarians, and before launching the missles at the Reaper at the end.
I'm not sure if maybe it's just my Xbox being dumb or others are having this issue. I have a slim and use HDMI as well. Any help or at least theories would be great. It kind of breaks immersion.

I was getting it too... dunno about now because I can't play the game at all now due to the black screen of death.

Absolutely - I have the same issues. Had it on Sur'Kesh, Tuchanka, everywhere with lots of fighting going on. London was pretty bad, too. It doesn't matter whether you play with speakers, just the tv or headphones. I don't have a slim, but I use HDMI and have the game installed to HDD....
Guess it just shows the Xbox is finally getting old and doesn't handle large scale battle scenes very well

London was awful for the sound clipping, I can't believe this wasn't sorted during QA testing stages of the games construction.

Same here. Horrible sound tearing during heavy battles. Using fiber optic cable or RCA to the tv., its really bad with head phones, game is install on hard drive. I'm surprised more ppl aren't having issues with this. Does it have to do with the game being installed on the hdd or just the Xbox can't keep up with the game?

I know this thread is dead but I can at least offer some help. Testing on Sur'Kesh I was downloading a game while playing made sound issues so bad to the point where lip syncing on conversations was off by a few seconds.
Dont download anything while playing.
Secondly the real fix, I uninstalled the game off the HDD and played it running on the disc. HUGE difference! There was still some minor issues but know where near as bad as before.
Run off disc and see if it helps.

Thanks for the tip. I never download anything while playing, so it must be the fact I have it installed. Funny, isn't it? You'd think it'd run better if installed...
Thanks!
Thanks!
