Seen a few cases of "high" N7 rank that seems to get a little over the head to a few players, "note" i'm not saying all of them. 
Like i said before, rank won't show Pro skillz, experience playing perhaps, but even then, what experience can come by playing Bronze all day long?

Regarding the class, race, weapon; all combinations can be good in the hands of a skilled player (not all weapons or classes will work that good in gold or silver), BUT!, it just take a few seconds to enlighten the player with a good reason and not give a half assed response regarding "what you think is mandatory" because of the so called n7 elitist pro skillz, if you rather kick him out and be done with it, that's fine too, but take into account the reputation you are making for yourself and those who like to have a good time while playing with this community.

Also, this has been posted about a few times and it seems that the Xbox communtity is full of these e-peen enhancement promoting ****s. Not sure what platform your using but sounds like the same thing.

Your better off not wasting 20 minutes of your life with these losers. All a high N7 rank means is that they can't figure out how to play a character so they keep promoting it in hopes of respecing to something that works for them. Why else would you promote your characters over and over again?

A high N7 rank doesnt just mean someone cant figure out who they want to play with. Promoting adds longevity to multiplayer. My N7 rating is around 150 and I promote every class except my infiltrator class. It allows me to re-level a character and experiment with different powers. Just my thoughts. Concerning the OP you will always have people that act like idiots when playing any multiplayer games, sad but true.

I usually just play bronze and silver but I dont kick anyone even if the have a bad build, I guess I just am not to concerned about winning and losing as long as no one is being a jerk and everyone is having fun.

As I pointed out then and now, any player that is educated on the mechanics is going to take a lot more than N7 rank into account.  In the absence of a conversation, I'd be inclined to guess that a group is kicking a +/- N7 100 for class/build rather than N7.

The way I see things, it's the individual player's responsibility to invest the time to educate themselves on the mechanics.  Some people enjoy taking noobish players under their wings in games.  I personally don't.  I'm happy to help someone with a good foundation raise their skill level, but to be blunt my time is valuable and I'm not interested in spending it teaching people things they could easily learn with minimal time investment here.

Well, all I can say is that any guys who kick someone out only on the basis of weapons and N7 ranks are just idiots and probably losers too. N7 rank doesn't determine anything about skill. It may say about the time spent, it could be the time spent on silver matches and the high ranked N7 elitist is probably scared on his first gold match.

It might have had something to do with their setup as well. If they were using adepts as a team to set up biotic explosions then your warp and overload might have messed up the explosions they could set up.

N7 150 is a nice N7 rank imo. Never been kicked for being too low, or too high.

Promote once for the achivement, level every class to 20 so you know how they play, done.

Why join gold then?

You're using a sub-optimal build/class combo, poor weapons and were not max level. If you hit ready before buffing I'd vote kick you too. Those are all warning signs that you might not be worth the risk of playing with. I'm in the same position as you. Work a lot, family obligations, etc, etc.

I'm not going to chance wasting my time and increasing my stress level.

Any class can wreck things on gold. If you are going on gold with randoms, it is better to accept high level characters rather than saying that I don't know how you will perform.
Random gold match was how I ended up with the OP and several good gold players. Also, if playing a game increases your stress level, then probably you are playing the game for all the wrong reasons.

Stupid N7 rank... mine's way too high for my newb skills, and only that high because I get bored of my level 20 infiltrators and promote to start over (and the next level 20 comes way too fast). It's really not only a useless, but also a misguiding rank, people assume you're a veteran and then wonder why they have to revive you constantly. Wish there was a way to hide it.

That thing happened to me aswell, to be honest I dont care, I just search another room. N7 level does not mean anything to me, yeh maybe playing sooo much (cause they probably don't have a life, I dont know) they have weapons at higher level etc. but oh well, it doesnt mean they have skills. Found loads of ultra high N7 level ranks that got worse score than me ingame, and/or play without any kind of tactic, just to kill kill and kill. Boring. And yeh sometimes I get kick cause I equip weapons and for that I cant just spam overpowered powers, to be honest I dont see any point playing like 4 adepts spamming powers all the time. So at the end, if I get kicked for that reasons, they are just making me a gift xD Most funny time was when there were 3 human recon on a gold, 2 of them wanted to kick my incursor out, then we started, we survived until 5-6 stream and I had to constantly go revive them cause they just spammed biotic charge + nova...

I have no idea where thios elitism comes from... as if ME3 was the next CoD and last hype of the e-sports scene.... sheesh, this is a casual game made for casual gamers and now comes with a mediocre multiplayer that is nothing more than some short-term fun in between. ME3's multiplayer isn't the latest and greatest, the typical Mass Effect player is no Shooter veteran and the elitism I read on these boards is embarrassing. Strangely, I only read it here and never experience it in game where I mostly find relaxed players without mics and ego problems.

Personally, I try to approach ranks as fairly as possible. If you're an N7 rank 10 in a gold match, well... 'nuff said It isn't the rank that should matter so much as how well you can play with your select class.

Minimum rank for Gold (At least IMO) is N7 70. It implies that they've been around at least a little, most likely know which class they prefer and how to play it well. Slightly elitist, but I just want as many credits as I can grab Gold is rarely for exp (Though it itsn't hard to to the boards with an L8 Engineer :3)

Personally I rarely kick players only because of their N7 rating. Sure if a lvl 1 soldier comes in with a N7 rank of 1 on gold(which happened to me about an hour ago) I'll kick, but if you are over 60-70, i'll give you a chance. One of my bud is lvl 60 and is better than most of the 600 I've seen. Heck, we managed a gold with 2 lvl 13 sal engi, 1 lvl 20 quarian infil and 1 lvl 20 human engi. That's one heck of a team comp against the geth XD

Anyways, to OP.  Just get over it. I got kicked a bunch of times for having a level 8-12 on Silver. So what. I click quick match again and  find a new game out of the thousand others being played. Easy peasy. You're getting mad for something very insignficiant.
