A poll question for all you MP players out there. Do you prefer to have all players see the OC style cutscenes where you do not have control of your character until the cutscene ends? Or do you prefer to retain control of your character, but you only see floaty text and not the cutscene?
So the yes or no question would be: do you want all players to be part of the cutscenes?

Is both and option? I am currently playing IWD with friends of mine adn we all agree he main story would benefit from full Mp cutscenes, but the side quests (non critical quests) would be fine as NWN type convos.
I think this would work great in IWD or other modules that use party transitions. All the party members are in the correct area for the conversion anyway.
If my group had to pick one or the other, we would choose full cutscene.
