I'm fairly certain thats not what we've been requesting. Am I just mistaken and dissatisfied, or are they really just not listening correctly?

They don't seem to understand the whole last 10min. makes no sense and they are not changing that. Something with shoving their legacy through everyone's throat, speculations and too video gamey.

This is why it annoys me to see people saying that we won.

It leads to these assumptions 1) they don't know what they are going to do and they are scrambling or side-stepping 2) this was planned all along and they are being vague (indoctrination or similar)

I personally don't think that ending is salvageable but then again, maybe ALL the writers will get to work on it this time. They have the talent, but... that ending...

Sigh. I think this might be a case of them hearing what they want to hear.
And it'll be a case of me getting my money back. Thankfully, the manager at my GameStop has been there for like 10 years, knows my brothers and I pretty well, and usually goes out of her way to help the customers.

That's what we wanted. It was never about getting a "happy" ending, its about getting an ending that isn't filled with plotholes and explains the whole catalyst/reaper thing in more detail.
Thats not what they're fixing though. They only want to add some clarity to their exestential nonsense and then give us a bit more time with the characters.
Not fix glaring plot holes or give an ending that actually shows us the consequences of our choices outside of colors.

No amount of clarity is going to make space child any more tolerable. None.
This.
I don't want clarification on this nihilistic, torturous ending.
I don't want pithy explanations for why Shepard is a quitter and why Joker is a coward.
I want new endings, not this dark age garbage they forced down our throats.
