That's what I wanted. It was never about getting a "happy" ending, its about getting an ending that isn't filled with plotholes and explains the whole catalyst/reaper thing in more detail.

Speak for yourself.
I want happy ending

There is nothing wrong with a "shephard dies" ending.  It was just executed in the worst manner ever.  All I'm asking for is a bit more detailed explaination as to the nature of the catalyst and why it couldn't just open the citadel relay from before ME1 even began.  I can even live with some minor plotholes.  I get it Joker was ordered to retreat so thats why he's in a mass relay.  But that doesn't explain how your crew you took with you got onboard the ship.  But the big one that NEEDS to be explained is the ctalyst not opening the citadel relay trap and needing soverign to do it.

Who exactly would order Joker to retreat and why, and what makes you think Joker would follow that order?

You can barely hear them announce orders to retreat as you are walking up to the beam.  I never said it was a good explaination but I'm willing to live with the minor plotholes if the major story ones are fixed.

He's not in a relay, though.  He's making an FTL jump.

Relays are instantaneous.

Ground teams. They ordered the ground teams to retreat. You can even see the space battle is still in progress when you're up on the Citadel. Nobody ordered Joker to retreat and there is no reason for it either.

They said they were working on initiatives which says to me more than one post game dlc. Patience and faith will serve us well in this. Will we get everything we ask for? No we'll get some of the thing's not all and that's fine but we need to keep giving our view's,tell them what's important,do the poll's etc. Like I said by them saying their working on initiatives it sound's to me like more than one post game dlc. Until we know anything just keep telling them on here, twitter, and polls what we want and if they don't deliver then we'll see what to do but I think they might deliver the backlash has been too bad for them not to.

No they're not. See Omega-4 relay jump. The pulse is following him and not dissipating. He's in a relay.

I hope the closure is that avina is secretly the catalyst and the krogan who would not stop asking her if there were fish in the lake is what set her off.

This.
I don't want clarification on this nihilistic, torturous ending.
I don't want pithy explanations for why Shepard is a quitter and why Joker is a coward.
I want new endings, not this dark age garbage they forced down our throats.

Havent read the whole thread as im sure its full of more pro indoc theory requests Image IPB But to be honest at this stage, if its done well i will be happy with this. Pretty much already at the stage where i am accepting the ending is what it is. As much as i dislike better clarification would make it tolerable for me now.

But if its done well they may surprise us, either way the fact that they made this concesion makes me happier.

Now if they could address my concerns about the false advertising i would be really happy Image IPB

I can't expect them to try and implement every single idea to a massive change of the ending that have been posted here the past week. I know that I have not asked for anything more than clarification and more closure. I feel my voice has been heard, and it is wonderful news. Looking forward to further announcement in April so much.

Mass Relays are mass transit devices scattered throughout the galaxy, usually located within star systems. They form an enormous network allowing interstellar travel. Hailed as one of the greatest achievements of the extinct Protheans, a mass relay can transport starships instantaneously to another relay within the network, allowing for journeys that would otherwise take years or even decades with only FTL drives.

Right from the wiki page.  http://masseffect.wi...wiki/Mass_relay

EDIT: and as far as I can see, no mention of the Omega 4 trip taking any longer.  From what I remember of ME2 the trip was instantaneous, just the trip to the relay took a while.

This movement will mainly fail because it is as disorganized as OWS. It has the same problem... Ask 3 different OWS what their cause is... one will say fighting corporate greed... the next says gay rights... the next says to get Obama out of office.

Retake ME3 has the same problem. One person will say it wants different endings, not different lights... the next will say they just want the plotholes explained... the next will say they don't care they just want their love interest and blue babies... They need to unite behind one cause and not just "we hate the endings"

Personally, I think the endings are mediocre and could be way better, but I don't think it's the customer's job to dictate the art. If a piece of art is bad, it doesn't sell. If it isn't, it does sell. I don't think the Mona Lisa is very good at all, but I don't feel entitled to tell Da Vinci to go and try again because I don't understand it.

That's not what we've been asking for at all.
They are only going to make things worse for themselves, I can already picture the ****storm that will be going on after people have PAID for this DLC.

If you're not going to rewrite the ending then better let the whole Mass Effect Universe die a peaceful death instead of desperately trying to fix this mess.

Better than nothing I guess....guess we will see how this ends up and make my final judgement then... There are so many things that need to be changed in this game to be a 100/100 for me

I wanted an ending that made sense and offers closure, and is based on the decisions made throughout the course of three games.

But I always kinda expected that we would most likely get "10,000 years later..." as The Angry One posted... doesn't mean that it makes me any happier.

I don't know. The entire Star Child thing is broken in my opinion, but since they're "defending their artistic integrity" we're stuck with it I guess. A shame, really.

I might not even download the DLC. I'm holding on to a nice fan made ending atm. I don't need another shock to the system.
