Just what the hell. Bioware, we want a new ending, not some closure to the current ending.

Do we speak Alien? Are we not clear enough as Legion?

We want a new ENDING NOT SOME CLARIFICATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

DIFFERENT COLORED ANGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

/Rant.

Added a fan user video review (he's in the forums!) of the ending on why it fails. This video is excessively great in my opinion.

www.youtube.com/watch (redlettermedia)

http://social.biowar...ndex/10715611/1 (give him your support!)

Edit: After looking through the responses, it can be divided into 3 primary schools of thought. People who are fine with the ending being extended, people who want indoctrination theory, people who want a brand new ending. Bioware can stick to their artistic integrity if they so want, or they can do 2 alternate DLCs which will satisfy most people.

- Indoctrination theory
- Brand new ending (sensible ending without any crazy plotholes, inclusive of godchild/mass genocide)

The 3rd possible DLC,

- Clarification and closure.

Thus solving 98% of the users' problems. IT MAY seem like a lot of DLCs and money, but this is what happens when Bioware/EA advertised it to be THIS WAY. You broke your product, Bioware, fix it. Stop hiding behind shields, because everyone can turn out happy if you do it properly. It will also show fans how much you care, and your reputation will be fixed!

They were never going to totally remake a chunk of the game. So long as what they come up with isn't another 'lots of speculation' effort it will be a dramatic improvement.

If they aren't going to do the indoctrination theory

-We want star child to disappear because the idea behind him sucks
-We want to have the option of not nuking the entire galaxy
-We want a more conclusive way of killing reapers other than space magic
-We'd like the ending most of all to make sense.

Well, they better do just that or I'm done with them forever.
The Normandy scene isn't even voiced, all you lose is some mediocre CGI.

BZZZZ! Sorry, but that is an incomplete answer. SOME people want closure. SOME people want a new ending. SOME people want coffee. In other words, many people want many different things, and ya'll are not standing unified in 1 force, but rather lots of small, loud groups demanding stuff. Apparently, the people who want a new ending were louder. Maybe you'll be loud enough now they got what they want and you'll get what you want. Me? <shrug> I got some instant around here somewhere..,..

QFT.

They're to egotistical at this point.
They're taking a HUGE upper-decker into thier own awesome product... ruining it, more than even George Lucas could have ever ruined the Star Wars trilogy...

This goes back to what I said when Ray addressed us. Apprarently they really believed in this ending. Asking them to do anything more is asking for trouble since their hearts won't be in it.

The problem is that they'll say their analysis and statistics of user feedback support their decision. Of course, it'll be difficult for us to prove otherwise since we don't have access to their data mining. I think I may be at the point where I'll take ANYTHING over what was given.

If the bioware team dares to pull off a frigging *** pull, you bet my money won't be landing on any bioware products in the near future, because their products are not meant for certain consumers, too frigging artistic for me.

I wish that they'd actually engage in discussion with the fans about our problems with the ending. I don't see how they could defend their current ending with the promises made throughout the series about different endings as well as the events in the series that paint synthetics in a positive light. I just don't buy that the reason they are keeping quiet is because they are going to reveal indoctrination theory eventually. Heck, IT is discussed on here so much that it's no longer going to be any kind of surprise whatsoever. If they use IT, it will be because of fan demand and not because they planned it all along.

Now i'm understand why at the dev reunion they said " if bioware do anything the fan will not be satisfied "... Of course if you just take the lazy path and choose to do something that is completly out of our revendication we won't be satisfied. they might as well not doing anything :/

It's hard to feel " listen " in those condition. I'm really feeling like bioware have lost somethings these last years.

i certainly don't want a new ending at all. the one we've got is extremely compelling. it's a shame that so many of you are too simpleton to appreciate it.

BioWare currently is working on the "ending" that will ultimately decide if I throw another $200 on this franchise (merchandise) in the extremely near future.

They are also deciding if I ever buy another product made by them again. The ball is in their court at this point. If they don't see the genuine problems with the current endings and why people are seeking entirely different ones, then there is no reason for me to throw more money at this franchise.

This is all supposing the indoc. theory (or something else as equally creative! *hint hint*) isn't used.

this

It's funny how Bioware now has "artistic integrity". Their ending isn't art. If you have to call it art, then call it bad art. It's just awful, even when looking at it from an objective standpoint.
