Just what the hell. Bioware, we want a new ending, not some closure to the current ending.

Likely, creating a new ending is like working on the modified genophage. They have to work within pre-existing conditions. Designing all new CGI and bringing some/all the voice actors back (who are probably already on their next projects...they have jobs too, people, remember that), that's difficult.

Now, life just gave them a whole lot of lemons, and people are asking for orange juice. Let's just see what Bioware does.

I can't help but feel that "clarifying" the current ending can only make things worse, either because it'll present even more plotholes or just serve to emphasize how incredibly bleak the ending is.

You don't even want a new ending, you want the issue that ALLOWED THE TERRIBLE ENDING TO EXIST, to be fixed, thus providing new many things.

Assets, continuity, and choice need to matter.

i certainly don't want a new ending at all. the one we've got is extremely compelling. it's a shame that so many of you are too simpleton to appreciate it.

Actually, I'm good with clarification. Speak for yourself. Attaching "we" to any personal statement conclusively is not only foolish, it's dangerous.

If they aren't going to do the indoctrination theory

-We want star child to disappear because the idea behind him sucks
-We want to have the option of not nuking the entire galaxy
-We want a more conclusive way of killing reapers other than space magic
-We'd like the ending most of all to make sense.

You dont speak for me and many others, so drop that we from your post please...

We want more endings. As I see it, a lot of people like the current endings. They should not take those away from the people that liked them. If they replaced the endings then all the people who liked the endings might end up feeling the way we feel now.

Personally I don't want that. I want more endings (yes, including my rainbows and lollipops) so everyone can be happy with the story they helped create.

They are saving the real ending for DLC just wait. They planned this all along. They probably weren't expecting people to be this mad, but they knew people wouldn't be able to wait to buy the ending as DLC.

Welp, I want closure... If I can ask for something else, I want to be able to tell the kid to suck it and divergent cinematics. I don't believe they will drastically change the ending (like removing the kid or making everything fine and dandy while keeping the citadel and the relays). So yeah, at the very least I want closure, and two weeks ago, that's what most people wanted. But hey, let's not pretend we know what everyone wants, just state what you want and let them figure out the rest. Don't generalize.

If you want a different ending, then ask for it. Don't complain about the nature of choice and how you were denied the choice of getting the ending you feel like you deserved and then in the same breath claim that you know what's best for everyone who paid good money for the game. There are people who paid their $60/$80 who were absolutely fine with the entire product and they have the choice of keeping what they liked about it.

If Shepard is gone and the relays are gone...then I'll be gone. Bioware will never another dime from me. There are other RPG companies out there that actually listen to and support their fan base.

He doesn't but Bioware lied about how the choices you made throughout the trilogy would effect the outcome of the game.

Agreed. At the least, wait until the April announcement before blowing your lids.
