If Shepard dies at the end are you okay with it?

I'm fine either way; if dies or lives. My cheif complaint about the current ending(s) is that it doesn't acknowledge any of  your choices throughout the series.  If that is corrected, I'd be okay if Shepard dies - would you?

In fact, I think if Shepard were to die it adds to the legend.

Only way to accept he'd die, is due to choices you've made throughout the series.

Would prefer it really, the idea he can come out of that **** alive is a bit ridiculous, if he takes on space gods and live... idunno, seems very off to me

Yes. I'm ok with it. Most of my Shepards are selfless.

I don't care if she lives or dies, just as long as it makes sense to the story.

Personally I was always in favour of collatoral damage. I just want to know the fate of my Shep and his squad, not neccesserily control it

Don't mind Shepard dying, don't mind bittersweet endings regardless of if it's a good book, game, movie etc - as long as it makes sense and lives up to what (in this case) Bioware told us to expect.

I would actually prefer that Shep dies fighting if we choose not to accept any of the 3 ridiculous endings. We then get a cinematic cutscene that shows our friends falling in battle, all the homeworlds getting harvested and then the reapers pull back from everdarkening homeworlds showing that the cycle continues and we lost and the reapers won. We did our best, fought to the end but kept our soul and Shep never became the mass murderer the current endings make her out to be.

There was a poll and shepard not dying got the majority vote. Understandable. Surviving is consistent with what most people expect from dramatic epics such as this. DA:O Starwars and Lord of the Rings also come to mind.

Let me put it this way. If dying is a possibility based on your actions and decisions, I would be OK with that.

If you're just a passenger to a certain grave it would take replayability out of the game. The what's the point question would raise it's ugly head again.

Living would be nice, but I'd take dying if it could be made clear that you were saving a lot more than what currently appears to be the case.

My Shepard survives. I don't care if my EMS wasn't above 4000. My Shepard survived. Because he is my Shepard and I say so. Goddammit.

Yes. I expect my Shepard to die. These are galaxy-ending REAPERS. I get it, make the sacrifice. Hell, sacrifice every member of my crew if you need to.

Just make it MEAN something.

Atleast I'd want to choose how he dies, possibly having past choices affect it. Ie you treat your squad like thrash they won't do the effort to save you. Or something like choose LI or yourself, Normandy or yourself... My favorite way to go would be something similiar to Saren, squad convincing that I'm doing the wrong choice for once.

I would prefer my SHepard to live, but I hope there is an option that requires him to die.

I want to see a big Frakkin flag waving, the camera slowly zooms back and it's Shep's funeral, and someone is giving a heartfelt badass speech about him.

Perfect ending: flag is superman's logo.

That's a good point. The ending ruins the replay value of the game entirely.
