That depends on if they fix the ending or not.

Indeed.

I really wish I knew.  I'd rather just have done with it at this point, this whole ****tease drawn out BS is crap.  Some honesty, if there was some plan all along that went horribly wrong, is in order.  I'm looking at my swtor toons wondering if I'm done with them, and wondering what the future of gaming holds.  I'm wondering if BW really thinks that the vague mutterings and noncomittal assurances of "listening" really inspires confidence.

I enjoyed the ride, so no, i will definitely not leave.

God, your all like children trying to get what they want from their parents by holding their breath.

Of course not. Anything related to the Mass Effect universe I wouldn't buy, that's until it goes on sale. Other then that I'm still happy with their other IPs, like Dragon Age for example. :)

I may or may not buy more BioWare games. That ultimately depends on how they address the ending. They either need to fix it with DLC, or they need to release a sincere apology to their fans for their pre-release lies. The ball is in their court.

Regardless, I won't be preordering BioWare games or blindly purchasing them anymore. This and DA2 have really changed my views on them. Bethesda is the only developer that I will blindly purchase games from anymore.

Absolutely not. I love Bioware's games, ME3 included. Quite looking forward to DA3, and whatever else they happen to put out on the market, including ME3 DLCs.

I will buy other bioware games, didnt like the ending but so what? The amazing experiences throughout the series were worth the bad ending, but who knows where they go with the ending? Have a little faith and lets just see what bioware does with the franchise.

That depends entirely on how well they fix the ending.

Right now I can't say I'm buzzing with excitement for DA3 or That Command and Conquer remake (Though only a fool would think renaming Victory Studio's "Bioware" actually makes them Bioware), So it wouldn't be hard to not buy any of their next line of games.

If they don't fix the ending, I don't plan on buying any game from them brand new. I'll buy them used if they are good...but I'll want Bioware to suffer if they make me feel like I've thrown out $200 and 200 hours of my life beccause of the last 15 minutes of a game.

I see no reason for them NOT to fix the ending. There is a demand for it, most of us would pay for it, and if they decide to "elaborate" on the ending instead of fixing it, I'll put one more playthrough (once the character import patch is out), then I'll probably never touch the series again.

Bioware has always been a company to put fans first...which is why they have been so successful. If they start putting corporate pride first, they will be off my "purchase new" dev list.

Finaly someone with the sense to understand that their other franchises had nothing to do with the ME 3 ending.

I really don't know at this time. At the very least, I will be more cautious.

I still have much admiration for Bioware, as of yet no other developer compares in my mind. I just don't care to experience this again.

EDIT:

I wouldn't have had and have never had the same reaction to any other franchise, so I suppose Dragon Age would be alright if users confirm it to be worth it. Just no Mass Effect.

Unlikely. If BioWare makes an incredible game I'll buy it, probably won't pre-order until my confidence is restored. If the ending isn't fixed, it's unlikely I will buy DLCs. It's not a protest, I just don't have desire to play it again.

Prior to this I trusted blindly in all the staff at Bioware, and would buy anything with Mass Effect on it´s name on launch day, and a Collectors edition at that. Intended on buying every single piece of dlc for ME3 after buying a N7 Edition on launch day.Had already bought every dlc for ME2 and ME1.Was in the progess of getting all books and comic books, plus both the "Art of Mass Effect" books. Tought about giving a chance to Dragon Age, because although I´m not a fan of the medieval setting, it was a Bioware game.

After Deception and the ending of ME3, my trust is shaken. Unless they crete a dlc to change the ending and acomodate more scenarios(don´t really care if it´s paid or free), no dlc for ME3 for me, and probably no Bioware games for me.

Possibly, but probably not. I never played any bioware games except mass effect, It was a heck of a ride but with the way it ended I can't see myself becoming a blindly loyal fan of the company. I am fully open to returning if they develop a new series or game that my friends love and can vouch for. However, If April brings change, I can see myself warming up considerably.

If they fix the ending to ME3, no. If not,i won´t buy any more games. Sorry Bioware. And considering what happend to dragon age 2, sadly. But i still have faith in you bioware, as many of the fans out there to. Out faith has been a litte shaken, so im not hating, mailing death treats or anything.
But i hope that you listen to the fans, you are good at that otherwise.

I'm not doing any day 1 purchasing from them ever again, but I'd probably sample a friend's copy, or rent.

This has more to do with the online pass, overpriced DLC created from content originally included on disc, and the integrated RMT system in multiplayer. The ending is just the rotten cherry on top.

Last Bioware game, probably not. Last Pre-Order Bioware game for sure. If they fix the ending that may change. Also, it will be the last Bioware game in the Mass Effect universe for me, unless they fix the ending.

Sadly, going by the tweets I think it may well be.
I don't want a tinkered-with explanation of Bioware's ending and closure DLC, - I want the product I was promised multiple times and pre-ordered on that verbal contract.

For me, what is at stake is not whether or not I buy another BioWare game, nor even whether or not I buy another Mass Effect product. They can botch the DLC for ME3 and I will still buy the next Dragon Age game.

What is at stake is simply my enthusiasm for the Mass Effect franchise. From enthusiasm flows dollars, mind you, so it's no small thing.
