I wouldn't say no outright, but it's definitely the last time I preorder an EAWare game, or buy one without hearing what the customers have to say first.

It will be the last BioWare game I pre order that's for damn sure.
I might buy Dragon Age III after doing my research, and any further BioWare games will be taken with a large fistful of salt. I will also be extremely wary of any game where Casey Hudson and Mac Walters are on the team.

My sentiments exactly.

If they fix the ending I will keep spending my hard earned cash for their games as long as they live up to the expectations, not mediocre things like DA2

If they just "clarify" the horrible plot hole ridden endings, yup I'm done with Bioware. I have many other game still to play and I like many other game Dev's who at-least care enough about their franchises to at-least write an ending that makes sense with story and lore, and I at-least know that those dev's are telling the truth.

You do realize Casey Hudson was on the original KOTOR as well as all the Mass Effect games.

If they don't fix the endings in a quality manner, then I will never buy from BioWare again.

This. But I'll never pre-order a BW game ever again anyway, as I don't like the mainstreaming way they're taking. I like my RPGs and action-RPG still role-play-ish. I'm going to hold on to Bethesda, they still seem to be able to build a bridge between RPG and mainstream.

No. I HAVE to get DA3. I despise cliffhangers, and DA2 left me with a big one :/

DA2 hit me hard but I had hope for SWTOR/ME3.... SWTOR was rushed/buggy and has no end game.. final blow was the ending of ME3 after we hit London.

I may buy BW games again but after I have seen feedback, no chance on release anymore.

I am in no danger of running out of games to play. I have a huge backlog already. If BioWare doesn't do something to redeem themselves, I will take my money elsewhere. Even if they do fix it, I still won't be preordering their games anymore.

Depends on whether or not the ending is fixed. If yes and done well, I'll happily forget this whole incident.

If not, then there should be at least an apology and developers admitting that they dropped the ball with this. Then I might -- after good reviews from fellow gamers -- buy more games by Bioware.

But if there is no apology, no change to the ending -- sorry, in that case we have gotten just too far apart, me and Bioware.

Yes, until they do an HD rerelease of KOTOR 1. I don't trust them to make a kotor 3, the old republic was a piece of crap.

Yeah i have a hard time critizing the Bioware people. This whole problem has EA written all over it. And the fact that what is wrong is the ending makes me think it was rushed and the Bioware team did not have enough time to flesh out the ending.

Although the fact that the ending is so ILLOGICAL makes me wonder why there wasn't someone who at least checked the end for logical consitency...

Well if they can come up with something that satisfies the fans and provides a fitting end to the series, then sure, i have no problems purchasing another BioWare game.

No more preorders. Ever.
If the ending's fixed, I might consider buying a game from Bioware in the future, but certainly not until I've heard from others if there's another mine planted somewhere in the game's field.

If they fix the ending and release it for free as apology for the day 1 DLC and the original ending, I'll forgive them.

If they don't, then that will be my last Bioware game.

For me it depends on if they make good on these endings. I've been a loyal customer to BioWare for a long time I've got 2 copies of ME3 registered a physical Collector's Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin. I've bought ME2 and all the DLC for it, as well as Dragon 1 and 2 with all the DLC for them. If they can't or won't make right on these endings my business with them is done with. They forced the ending on DA2 pretty much the same way as these ones in ME3. I was willing to tolerate that because it was supposed to be a build up for DA3. This series is different. These endings simply don't live up to the standard that has keep me in it for all this time, they either fix it or yes, this will be the last BioWare game that I buy.

I don't know about full games in other franchises, but I certainly don't have any interest in DLC or companion games that take place during the "current" era of the ME universe. It would just feel kind of pointless to be playing a DLC side mission or spinoff game knowing what I know of the ultimate "resolution" to the series. Obviously if the ending gets some kind of additional development (or rewrite, which is HIGHLY unlikely), that would change things.

As for actual games part of a different franchise/series...Hmmmm hard to say. I don't discount the possibility.

Its not going to completely write me off from Bioware games at all. I mean most of the game was still awesome, as are most of their titles.

However the ME franchise has been seriously damaged to me, and how its handled will dictate my future interest. I might also be more hesitant about day 1 purchase.

That depends on Bioware.

It is the last time I take the risk (before I didn't even think it -was- a risk) on a pre-order. I will have to see it in action, and see some player reviews before, before I purchase.

But if they make a great new game, I will probably buy it. If they make a quick & dirty, bare bones sequel off to fill self space I won't.

If they're reasonable and give fix the ending without charging us for it, then no, it shows that they've restored a connection with their fan base.

If they further try and exploit us, then yes, I'm done.

Possibly. As others said I would at least wait a few weeks to see the consumer reaction. However, ME3's ending is not the only reason for that. I also ended up being dissatisfied with Dragon Age 2, so that is two strikes so far against BW.
