Not sure if last of Biware, what's sure is that's the last game involving Casey Hudson or Mac Walters I'm EVER buying.

This. Actually I'm 99'999% sure I won't buy any other Bioware game ever, or at least not in the next 5-10 years. If they release a DLC with better endings and it's not free or that DLC only adds some kind of crappy epilogue, that number will be definitely 100%.

yes unless they release the real ending DLC for free. ME3 is very good without the ending, but there should be limits with corporate greed. Only way i can show my opinion against this kind of treatment is with my wallet.
Either way i will never preorder another Bioware/EA game.

Last one for me unless they sort out the ending. And by that I don't mean add two minutes of dialogue with the starchild.

The first rule of the ME3 ending:  YOU  DO  NOT  TALK  ABOUT  THE  ME3  ENDING.

It all depends on the ending controversy. If the endings are "fixed", giving us more options and closure, my faith in the company will be restored :D

Lets hope they make good on their "promise":wizard:

Pfft. Bioware games are pretty much the only EA games I buy.

I agree -- however...  Over the past five days there are at least 16 of my friends who have written BioWare and unfortunately Mass Effect totally off.  It won't matter to them if there is DLC.  I have been able to convince around 24 others to wait it out.  I don't know how long they will be willing to do that though...  Also -- if all BioWare does is release DLC that "clarifies" their artful ending?  I am sure to lose them too... I know I won't be buying any DLC unless it fixes the issues I personally have with the game.  Clarification won't cut it for me.  Therefore I am less likely to try to convince any of my friends to wait for something that may never come.

Well the last two have left me with a bad taste in my mouth, so I'd have to say yeah at the moment.

But I never say never on anything, they could get it together anything's possible. But if I ever do again it for damn sure won't be a pre-order. It'll be after extensive research.

I will not pre-order Bioware again. I will not use Origin to buy games again. However, I may after the first release and careful research purchase a Bioware/EA game again.

ME3 not only had a bad ending but just had too much switch-a-roo stuff designed at generating revenue. I could care less if they "fix" the ending...it did suck and ignore choices but if they did it for themselves, that is a choice they are entitled to make.

I am more upset at all the commericialism that the game forced on us and in turn impacted the playability and value of the product. Origin, MP with nickle and dime DLC, bad value on the Collector Edition....bad day 1 DLC. Etc. Etc.

Also, seemed really short...with a war readiness of 50% (No MP) I had an EMS of 3647 (TMS of 7294). So I did just about everything...someone told me there are hidden on assets on planets that you can only find when in orbit and scanning vs general scanning in the system. Not sure about this and not going to find out. I removed all MEs from my pc to make room for something fun.

BTW...I found a lot of the artsy stuff to be boring...the dream seq, the walk into the light stuff. The new NPCs were OK but not that deep. Not fun.

More power to those that found the game fun...that is what gaming should be about.

Definitely depends on how they handle this fiasco. But currently I have no desire to game at all, so this might be it for me. Definitely no preorders, that's for sure.

Definitely not. Throughout the last 14 years that I've been enjoying their games I haven't been let down once (Yes the ending to ME3 could have been a lot better but the majority of that game is awesome). I'm looking forward to what their next project will be.

If they don`t bring a bright ending, where I have the feeling that I saved the galaxy and my comrades, I will never ever buy again a Bioware game. And with a bright ending I mean, no destroyed mass effect portals, the saved races have a future with hope and no space magic with a fleeing Normandy.

I'm going to think long and hard before I preorder again, that's for sure. To me, the biggest issue of the end isn't just the plot holes and the fact that it completely breaks away from the established lore of the game, it's the fact that after all the strife, death and effort, you should have just found a sunny beach to live out your final days and let the reapers do their thing, because the end result was the same. All the galactic civilizations were kicked right back into the stone age. Being as that Space Magic Explosion wrecked the Normandy when it caught up to it, what did it do to the fleets surrounding Earth? If it had the same effect, you just killed off the best and brightest minds of the universe, as well as the bravest. All three endings were a failure.

Bioware's cry of "It's art!" is a lot of crap. If I pay an artist to paint me a mountain scene and I get a dirty cityscape, I'm not going to accept his answer that "It's Art!" and changing it is violating his 'artistic integrity'. He's not getting paid.

The whole Mass Effect series is about hope in the face of impossible odds, and the ending is the complete and total opposite of that. That's not 'artistic licence', it's trolling your fans. They deserve every bit of backlash they get for that abomination of an ending.

I am now looking at Bioware as being just another video game developer.
No CE, no pre-order, no first day DLC purchases, and no add-on DLC until I have checked the game out as best I can.
I am sad about that. I really hope they can recover, but I don't see it happening very soon. Please prove me wrong Bioware.

i wont buy a trilology untill all games are out. i wont pre order anything.
But if they really Change the ending. into endingS that are not full of plot holes and give closure. some form of epilogue after and I will slowly regain my trust in them as a direct consequence of them accually giving fans wat fans want. heck games are made for gamers. not devs. period.

They shouldn't be calling the ending whatever-it-is "dlc", they should be calling it a patch cause if it doesn't even fix the ending we got, I'm not buying it.

Even then, I'm iffy about it.

When EA gobbled up Bioware they assured us that the creative spirit and quality would not be interfered with. EA are infamous for rushing developers on projects.
The ending, the simplified journal system, the lack of story contact with your previous team members... WTH happened?, it doesn't feel like a product from the same company.

Probably not to OP.

If the ending DLC isn't on par with the rest of the game, I will never pay more than $5 dollars for another Bioware game.

Screw that, any EA game.
