probably since i'm not the biggest Bioware fan out there (didn't care for Jade Empire and Dragon Age is not my fancy) and I got the CE of Mass Effect 3 not because it was a Bioware product (though I loved KOTOR) but because it was the conclusion to the series I grew to love.
As for DLC, i'll get it anyways, just have to see what exactly it is.

I remember when DA2 was the last BioWare game people were buying. Ah those were the days.
If they change the ending, I am boycotting BioWare games.

I'll buy a Bioware game in the future. FAR in the future once it's on the discount rack. No more pre-ordering. No more launch day purchases. DEFINITELY not buying anymore DLC.

No matter what they do I will NEVER pre-order anything from BioWare again, Now if this is the last game I buy from them that depends on them and how they handle things...

Their next game must have Jade Empire in the title for me to be excited.

If it's something I'm interested in I'll buy it and if I'm really interested in it I'll pre-order it.

Doubtful. I don't love the endings, but they didn't ruin this game or the series for me. If they make an ME4, I'll probably be there. I'll definitely be there for DA3, because I want to see what will happen with everything they set up in DA2, and you can bet your ass I'll buy Jade Empire 2 if they ever make it.

I won't pre-order again. I was disappointed with DA2, but I went ahead and pre-ordered ME3 mainly I thought "Mass Effect is their biggest license, they will do everything to make this great", but a lot of stuff promised didn't make it, and the ME3 ending was crap and nothing you did before mattered. To me the ending was a rush job. I hear a lot of big promises leaking out about Dragon Age 3 as well, looking to Skyrim for inspiration etc. But now I doubt anything said about it. I will wait for reviews first when it comes out.
The games Bioware makes needs longer development time, as an independent company they have the freedom to take as long as they like on a game. When your owned by a big publisher like EA they want the product out as soon as possible to recoup their development money and make a profit. And I think i'm starting to see that make an impact on the kind of games Bioware makes. DA2 and ME3 just tells me to wait and see now before buying.

If the ending is not fixed?
No more business from me ever Bioware. Ever.
If it is fixed?
You get my business until the next time you screw something up. If its as bad as this time, no business ever again. If its not that bad, I may forgive it if you fix it.

No.
Looking forward to DA3, as I think that at the VERY LEAST, considering the amount of negative criticism DA2 garnered, DA3 cannot be worse (and this is coming from someone who actually enjoyed/didn't mind DA2).
And yes, if they announce a second Jade Empire, I may just cream myself (don't turn it into an MMO though!)

Yup. Short of a changed or modified non space magic starchild ending, they'll never receive another cent of mine. I'd only buy DAIII after it had been out for a month and i read the GAMER reviews and it it was used, not the 10/10 on everything big gaming reviewers (not saying that its just this game or studio that gets it, its pretty wide spread, not every game is perfect)

I never pre-order anything. But, I'm probably going to keep buying Bioware things, especially DA3

ME3 was my first preorder, after all, what could possibly go wrong after 2 great games, they certainly got the hang of it now, right?
WRONG!
This was my first and last preorder. Any other game from Bioware will be eyed with utmost suspicion and doubts. I will never have my hopes crushed like this again. Now they can apply some medigel on my broken heart - depending on what they do with the ending fix.
But as a wise man once said: "Hope is the first step on the way to disappointment."

If all they do is a half assed epilogue text to "fix' their endings then I am done with them for good.

No it isn't, I will likely buy generals 2 ... but aside that it will likely be the last game that I pre-order from them.
It all depends, if what we got at the end was a part of a (somewhat risky) PR plan to generate the interest, and lets say spirited response, followed some kind of "real ending free DLC" (AKA like the Indoctro Theory essentially requires). -If this was the plan all along it'll be front page news in every gaming site on the web, and prolly a few mainstream papers as well. If this was the intent ... well DA2 still had gameplay I strongly disliked (Made the game unreplayable for me), and a story that i didn't hate, but was considerably weaker than normal. But I would give them the benefit of the doubt and get excited about a game and prolly preorder an existing IP. A new IP requires more information and ideally a demo before purchase tho.
As an aside the above is the only reason I would want a new DLC ending rewrite - if it was planned from the getgo. Either way by about mid april you'll know if this was the intent all along.
Assuming it wasn't all some grand PR plan and there was not a ending being held back all along. Then it drops from a "x company is making games I always like" to they have fallen a long way and I can't trust that their games are going to be any good, they might as well be indie brand x for all their brand power to pull me towards a game - if not outright negative trepidation.

Well, ME3 is the...
1st CE I've ever bought - not sure if i'll do that again. likely not.
2rd Pre-Order (also ME2) - *might* do that again if ending DLC is epic awesomesauce AND i find myself extremely interested in the upcoming title
Once I buy a game, I generally buy all content-related DLC, because I turn OCD completionist and can't stand not to have a piece of the game.
At this point, a lot of how I feel about bioware and purchasing games from them will likely depend upon how the ending stuff plays out. on the one hand, i think there was so much GOOD in the game that this is why the ending just sent me for a loop - it seemed to come out of nowhere. BUT there may be scenarios (IT? extra good DLC) where the ending could not only be redeemed but turned into something amazing. i would love to see this happen, and remain cautiously optimistic.
But generally, I'm going to be much more cautious than optimistic in the future, I think.

Most likely I will not buy another Bioware game. The ending was bad enough, but the deal breaker for me is all the blatant lies spewed by the company pre-release. I have no reason to believe anything Bioware says at this point and that's not the kind of feeling I want for a company I'm giving my money to.

Not preordering again and very carefully looking at who's in charge of the product.
