While I hate the endings with a passion, I'll probably still buy BioWare games. I may avoid pre-orders in the future, but I'll probably still buy. Even their bad work (DA2) is better than most companies good work. We can be as angry as we want about the endings (and rightfully so), but that doesn't change the fact that BioWare puts out higher quality stuff than most people.
Is ME 3 the last BioWare game you're buying?

Probably the last. Things could change for the better, maybe, if they fix the ending, but i really can't tell.

Probably not. Only this time, I'm not trusting a 'professional game journalist'. I'll take my time and ask people's opinions.

Yea, they blew it, just like DA2

No. I'm not stupid enough to boycott and entire publisher/developer for the sake of what some(not all) deem as a mistake.
EA is one of the big three publishers. Boycott them and you may as well throw out a third of your games collection

I will not buy another Bioware or EA product unless they release new endings and not extended versions of the endings we have now.

Maybe if dragon age 3 is as good DA:O or DA:Awakening then i ll buy it and i ll get confirmation before hand that the ending is final and leaves you complete.
Pre-ordering nope (that whole signature edition thing was a nasty business). I have no interest in RTS/TBS besides Starcraft and Civilization games so i won't buy the Bioware RTS

Depends how they handle fixing the ending. It will be the last time I preorder a game from them and blindly trust that they'll get it right.

Yes....
Unless the remedy the disaster that is the last 10 minutes...there's no way to clarify the stupidity without just saying it was a bad dream.....where's the boss fight? It was majorly disappointing not battling Harbinger, but instead talking to star child....
And most importantly, a series built on "choice and consequence", ME3 renders the entire decision tree that branches out over 3 games, entirely useless....they have no excuse for not haveing many varying endings based on the hundreds of decisions we made....
Instead, they give EVERYBODY(regardless of your different decisions) the same 3 choices in the end....with 1 outcome...
So they essentially said: CHOICE is an ILLUSION
yeah its my last game from them ever....they spit in the faces of all their fans and lied to us....some of us are just willing to take that spit and turn the other cheek....NOT I....

The ending doesn't look to be getting a proper resolution.
Most likely yes I will never buy a Bioware game again. They have shown they don't care about there customers and more about there artistic integrity and attempting to set all the gaming websites on there own fans like rabid dogs is disgraceful. How can one ever trust a company again after they lied to us and made false promises.

It's a lot more easier to walk away from ME now. It was difficult to give it up if you played the other two games before this one. I suppose that's why they were trying to get newcomers to the game to play it. They said it was the best entry for new people to start.
It could also be the best time to finish as well.

It is literally as stupid as the Matrix sequals.....when I was talking to that starchild, I felt the same dumb-struck stupidity come over as I did when I saw the scene when NEO is talking to the Architect....
As if they copy and pasted that scene from the Matrix, with Shepard as Neo and Starchild as the Architect.....what an awful movie to imitate...especially when this series was way above any movie when it comes to story telling

Depends on conclusion.
If current ending truly finale, but only allowed to look at through glasses with new patch, then will disavow Bioware.
If new ending put in, will take next step. Pay it forward. Buy three copies of ME 1, 2, and 3 for random strangers.
Act of good will.

Interestingly there's a big difference between a story or narrative driven RPG and a sandbox RPG. Whilst I like both if they're executed well, it's chalk and cheese for some people.
I like Skyrim because it's a sandbox game, plus the modding community is huge and very impressive.
I like narrative driven games more for the story being told, insofar as them being interactive fiction. A good story that pulls me along and gives me the impression I'm helping the protagonists along their path.
For me the difference between the two is that with a good sandbox game, there's a lot of customisation. There might be a background story and plot to follow, but it's the freedom to travel and interact with the game world, that's the appeal. There's a lot more freedom for developers to add things if they wish,
plus the band is a lot wider when it comes to "story", whilst a great
deal can also come from the imagination and how much immersion the
player has.
With games like Mass Effect or Dragon Age, for me it's about being a central part of a story and narrative. For it to work though, the whole story has to have a well constructed and executed beginning, middle and end. The band of scope for developers is much narrower and they have to tie plot devices and anchors very closely together. Little room for mistakes.
In Dragon Age 2 for me, the whole thing failed completely. Whilst that wasn't the case in Mass Effect 3, the culmination whilst understandable to a certain degree, was largely unfulfilling and perhaps far too ambiguous to bring any definitive resolution. Perhaps that is yet to come though.

It depends on how they handle the new endings - if they're new endings at all - but my current position is that I've learned my lesson: what they say you're paying for, you ain't.

I don't have a false sense of entitlement. Of course I'll buy them.
I know this girl who said she'll refuse to ever buy another Ubisoft game again because she didn't like the prince's elbows in POP 2008. Why? Who knows. Then again - she locked herself in her room and slashed her wrists when her parents didn't buy her an Iphone for Christmas.
I wasn't entirely thrilled with the ending of ME3. But - it was a superlative game. By no stretch of the imagination did it suck. Why in the world would I be vindictive about it? Why are you guys being vindictive?

Yes it is the last BioWare game I will buy. I knew it would be for a long time now, ever since EA took over BioWare. This was not completely unforeseen for me. Whenever EA takes over something it always means bad news, everything they touch, they ruin. It's all about money for them, why nobody does a damn thing to stop it is what confuses me the most.

Thats what had me salivate over the ME. It was the story that sucked me in. I played Fallout 3 before I ever touched anything Mass Effect and needless to say when I beat Fallout that was it, comapred to the 200+ hours, multiple playthroughs etc for Mass Effect.

Unless they either change the ending, or Casey and the rest of Bioware come out and apologize, no, I won't.
Because this is the third strike now. Dragon age 2 was a trainwreck of terrible gaming, SWTOR is a medicore MMO that would've died months ago if not the Star Wars theme backing it, and now this ME3 ending debacle.

I'll buy more Bioware games, post-reviews and word-of-mouth. No more pre-ordering and buying blind. This is not hate, nor a boycott, or anything like that. I'm just not sure I like where their game design philosophy is going, and I reserve the right to keep my money rather than spend it on products that no longer please me.
But much of what they do is still good; ME3 is a surprisingly good 3rd person shooter even sans plot; not quite as tight as Gears, but made up for by the powers/classes. DA2 was a solid game despite the negative reactions (though nowhere near as good as DA1).
