Is ME 3 the last BioWare game you're buying?

I bought and enjoyed DA:O. Then I bought DA:Awakening and it clearly lacked something. So before buying DA2 I waited for user reviews to come up, and based on what I saw, I did not, and never will, buy DA2.

I bought ME2 and enjoyed it. Based on my ME2 experience and the pre-release material I read for ME3, I bought ME3 on day-1. I now feel that Bioware completely misrepresented the game and betrayed my trust.

I will certainly never buy another Bioware/EA game without waiting long enough for user reviews to come out (no more pre-order or day-1 purchases).

I certainly will not buy another ME game unless Bioware stops with the defiant attitude towards their customers and issues a patch which provides fora wider selection of conclusions (and hopefully actually makes prior decisions impact game play in ME3).

I don't think I will give Bioware any more of my money until I see a correction of their attitude towards their customers. I can live without Bioware games. Bioware cannot live without its customers. They are the ones over a barrel, not me.

Probably, depends on what happens in April.

I didn't enjoy DA2, ME3 ending and the reaction towards the fans has rather destroyed the faith I had in Bioware.

The mere fact that BioWare stated that they were taking a close look at Skyrim while developing Dragon Age 3 tells me that they're seriously lacking creativity these days. I won't pre-order Dragon Age 3 but if they mess it up as well i might be done with them as a company.

That depends entirely on Bioware. If they do a good job fixing this, i'll might. If they don't...i won't.

At this point no. Fix ME3's endings then I'll think about it. If I do buy a BW game, it's when the game hits the $10-20 bin - never going to pre-order again. Then I'll wait for what people will find after they thoroughly examine the game data.

I don't believe in boycotting a game company because of one (or even a few) bad games, but the idea of pre-ordering a Bioware game is laughable at this point. In my book, they are now sitting with a track record of failed games, and while I have been burnt over and over, they create the kind of games I want to like. So I'll certainly listen, and if the fans seem happy with future releases, I might be there again with my wallet. But buying unseen, just because it's Bioware? Those days are over.

Dito.
Last time I wrote my opinion on this (a couple of days ago), I wrote that I wouldn't buy another BioWare game unless they prove that they actually care about both their customers and their games, that they keep their promises and give us 1) what they promised and 2) what the story deserves.

Now, after Muzyka's statement, I expect no less than that, but it has also shown me that they do not respect their customers or their fanbase in any way. They don't make any decisions based on what would actually please us and make us calm down; they focus on what their PR strategists recommend, on moves that will cause some of us to rage to the point of looking like a mob, while others fall for the empty words they offer and understand them as giving in.

If BioWare significantly changes the ending (no explanations or bull**** like that, it is plain bad and offers no choices; I want endings [plural], not one ending in three colors), I might give them the benefit of a doubt in the future. But otherwise, I am done with them for good.

The only thing that could actually restore my faith in them would be for them to provide multiple endings, an epilogue and to apologize to us, their customers, for the PR crap and lies and for handling this situation the worst way possible instead of just admitting they made a mistake and rectifying it.

Last pre-order for sure. Made that error twice. TOR and ME3.
Going to wait a good month after their next release to see if I will even bother...otherwise, I hear the Witcher II is being re-released with a lot more extras and new ENDINGS.

Never pre-ordering again (from any company, even Blizzard). Never buying EA or BW at full price again. I'll buy used or GotY editions (I don't particularly care for paying $10 for a dozen different pieces of minor DLC), if they ever get GotY again.

Yes. Going to watch the upcoming DLC on Youtube because OI don't expect them to rectify their mistake. Bioware is now on the boycott list right next to Ubisoft.

Yep, basically for the extra money I spent on ME3 CE I could have waited a few days for the ten buck price drop, paid for the From Ashes DLC and still saved about 20-30 bucks.

I will not say its the last but as many others have stated already no preorders (kind of a wash as i usually never do that anyway) and not on launch as i will wait for a good sized sample of user reviews to check before any purchase.

And there is always 2nd hand copies available in short order.

I'm just going to say no this isn't the last Bioware game I'm buying because they make great games. I first became aware of them when they made KOTOR and they became my favorite game company ever since. I guess I'm not that hard to please because I like both ME2,DA 2, and ME 3 dispite the crappy endings to the last 2. I've also enjoyed a lot of the other media like Redemption and Asunder.

No. Beyond the ending I enjoyed ME3. It seems clear that Bioware may have dropped the ball this time with regard to the conclusion, but it seems to be clear that they acknowledge that they might not have done a great job at delivering on this one and are looking to address it.

If anything I think the more important question is why so many reviews singularly failed to address the issue of the ending. I don't subscribe to the idea that bribery was involved, but more that reviewers are more focussed on technical aspects and game play (and ME3 certainly delivers in those arenas)  and less focussed on storyline (Vs fans of the series who are all about that), and subsequently didn't give it as much attention as they perhaps should of.

I'm interested to see what they do with regard to rebuilding customer faith. Albeit ending aside (again) I didn't have a problem with DA2 (repeat environments seemed a concession made to keep the games assets below a certain consoles multi-disc licensing fee), I do think that Bioware (and EA for that matter) desperately need to renew peoples confidence in their products.

NO more BW games enter my home until this ending is completely fixed as they themselves promised wildly different endings they did NOT deliver. Instead we got this monstrosity. My line is final.

Most likely. The way they treated their fans during all this is unacceptable IMO. They really have to come out with something special to make up for this fiasco, and so far I dont believe theyll deliver.
But it also tought me one lessen: Never get ahead of myself again, just because I like the outlook of something. In the future Ill wait for userreviews before I buy a game, no matter who made it. But for Bioware/EA its going to be very hard to redeem themselves in my eyes. If they dont I will buy their games second hand in the future or not at all.

Regardless of what they do with the endings, this will be the last Bioware game I preorder or buy on launch. They'll have to really show me they can be trusted with their next game, I'll be waiting for user reviews before I even consider touching whatever they come out with next.  And even if I were to buy it, I'll buy it second hand.

I don't see investing more time and money when it's 50/50 that I'll be completely disappointed. Unless Bioware makes it clear that they care about their customers (and the money those customers spend) then I will not purchase more of their product.

Not saying I'll never buy another one again, especially if they do somehow manage to fix this horrible situation. However, ME3 is ABSOLUTELY the last one I buy within a month of release. No more preorders from me.

For me it is. The next game will probably end up the same with an ending that makes no sense but it's soooo artistic we just dont understand.
