Yes, it seems it is
Is ME 3 the last BioWare game you're buying?

If they don't change the endings - hell yes.

Posté 24 mars 2012 - 09:51
No, as long as Mac isn't the lead writer for said game.

No, probably not.

If they don't fix the ending satisfactorily, I'll just buy any future EA games used, if I even buy them at all. It's what I did when I bought Prototype, didn't want Activision getting my money.

Dragon Age II put much strain on my faith in Bioware as a game developer.
SWOTOR only deteriorated my faith even more.
Mass Effect 3 its ending made my faith in them stretch to a critical breaking point.
Time will only tell if Bioware redeems themself in my eyes before my faith in them is entirely lost.
If I find Bioware's reaction to this entire debacle to be below standards I will not buy their next game and hesitate purchasing anything with their name on it in the forthcoming future.

I will buy everything ( like I always do) - BUT after they fix the ending of ME3.

Probably

Well I'm gonna be a lot less eager to pre-order any new IPs from them.
I still very much (generally speaking) like their games though. But I'll be looking at customer reviews first and foremost before taking out my wallet.

Still holding out they'll somehow fix this, but definitely going to be cautious about pre-ordering int he future.

I'm willing to see how they handle this, and based on that, I'll make my decision from there.

No, they don't care (and do not listen), I don't pay.

More "if they don't fix the entire game", I think...

Maybe. But ME3 is definitely the last BioWare game I pre-ordered.
I am going to wait and see, take my time and do my research on DA3 that is for sure.

Even if they fix the ending I'm sure as hell not buying anything from them on release date anymore. Will likely wait for steam sales or GOTY editions. The idea of purchasing DA3 after this is laughable though.

Depends on what else they are making.
I hate to be the bad guy here, but I actually enjoyoed ME3 a lot and don't see why it should keep me from buying other BioWare games.
Please make Jade Empire 2. Pleeease
PS: Do NOT make it an MMO. Pretty please.

Probably not. But mostly because I hardly buy or play games as it is.

The way they treated their loyal fans throughout this entire debacle is unacceptable. If BioWare doesn't get their **** together and fix the terrible ending, then they have lost me as a loyal customer.

it really depends. essentially they severely damaged consumer confidence in them ...
they no longer get the automatic opt-in with me (basically own every game they've ever made minus the sonic games) .. and basically just mail in the pre-order. if they don't fix the endings..it'll probably take a few aaa titles and stellar word-of-mouth for me to even consider purchasing additional games from them. i will most likely never buy a game directed by casey hudson or written by mac walters ever again. i will think long and hard about ever investing time into any story-driven gaming trilogy.

i most likely wont be preordering any more bioware games, no matter what they do with the ending (unless they completely turn that ending around, which i find unlikely)
i will take a "wait and see" approach with future games (wait and see what other gamers think)
last time i buy a game from a trillogy before i know how it ends

Oh, I'm sure I'll be buying BW again; the good times they'e given me FAR outweigh the bad. Preorders/collectors editions rely entirely on whether I think the game looks awesome or not, just as it's always been.
