Is ME 3 the last BioWare game you're buying?

No, this will not be the last Bioware or even EA game that I buy.  But ME3 will be the last one that I'll pre-order.  One bad game or poor ending does not mean that the company in question can't make a good game in the future. ME3 as a whole is a great game, that's what made the ending so much more disappointing to me.  I still hope that Bioware and/or EA will decided to give us an option to download a new ending or add on to the existing one that improves it, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm still a Bioware fan and they were (note the past tense) one of the few companies that I would regularly pre-order games from.  They lost my trust.  I'll still buy their games and/or DLCs, but only after they are released and I can have some idea of how good/bad they are by checking these forums.

It depends on how the DLC/endings play out.

If they don't deviate from their current path, then yes. Only used games from that point.

Nope, I love their work. No reason not to get more.

I love the ME and DA universe, I will buy  DA III, though no pre order unless they fix the ending of ME3.
Edit: also different team(I hope Casey Hudsen and Mac Walters are nowhere near the DA writers, or give them advice for that matter) might learn from the ME3 team's mistakes(crappy ending, plotholes, no ruxhing, ect.), as well as their own(like rushing as well, companion interaction, story, ect.).

i'll get DA3 just to see how much it's going to suck, but that'll be the last. i can only give them so much credit for KOTOR, and it's going to run out soon.

Potentially. No matter what, I'm probably never gonna believe anything Casey Hudson says again. His voice isn't as awesome as Peter Molyneux's so it'll be easier to not believe him anymore

lol, Fable 1 not being Project Ego hurt, was still less of a fail than this "16 endings" rubbish. Moly's a good dude though, everything that has been a bit funky with the games was at least due to overachieving on a platform that can't contain his visions for games yet; this was just pretentions drivel being made into an ending.

At this point, I am definitely not preordering anything with anyone in charge of the ending to this involved, and I'll probably end up buying used/gameflying. Even if the ending thing is resolved well, I'm going to have to get some fan feedback before I buy anything at full price for a long while. "profesional" reviews - lol.

That dependent on the type of game they release, if they go back to single player RPG they have done so well in the past, I might be game, otherwise probably not. But no preordre, or on release date I will wait for the gamers review before I buy, and that goes for all games not only Bioware.

I bet that the people who are saying that they will never buy any BioWare games again are the EXACT same peple who "Cancelled their Pre-Order" when the leaked script came out

I will only ever buy another BioWare game if they fix the ending.

And by fix i mean what they promised us, 16 different endings, ultimate victory, ultimate defeat, and several in between, getting rid of the star child dues ex machima.

No, I'll keep buying BioWare games if they are any good. If they suck however, I won't buy them.

I'll judge every single game on it's own merits. There is no point to withhold yourself from great video-games just because of some petty grudge over a crappy ending.

Yeah. In the end i might end up buying Dragon Age 3 but only after I hear more about it after it gets released. I won't let myself get tangled in the hype ever again, that's for sure.

Like a lot of people here, I won't be buying pre-orders. Otherwise, I don't boycott companies wholesale, since products are the result of a lot of talented people, and there are always opportunities for such teams to shine regardless of their employer.

That said, games made by Walters and Hudson are going to get extra scrutiny from me moving forward.

I am going to remain a Bioware supporter. Even though I was very angry with the ME3 endings, I still think they create engaging stories and fun games. Just because of one mistake, I can't stop being a fan :)

That depends on how this ME3 debacle plays out, and whether they've learned anything from the travesty that was DA2 or not.

I still have faith in them, but it's dwindling.

Last pre-order and last time I buy before waiting a week or two to gauge not just the critical reception, but the player reception as well.  In other words, brand trust is gone.  Whether or not it's my last Bioware game on principle rides pretty completely on their handling of the ending, which includes 1) how honest moving forward the company is about why they messed the ending up so bad, and 2) how well their "game content initiatives" improve the product.
