I'm one of the few that liked DA2, so I will consider DA3. However, I will no longer preorder anything. Whether I buy will also be dependent on what they produce in the future. I have no interest in Command and Conquer and the ME universe is dead until they (hopefully) fix the endings. So, I guess I'll be waiting for new IPs, if they ever make any.

Given that ME3 was IMHO the best game of the series, no, definitely not.

Curious to see how they'll handle this though.

The only Bioware franchise I even like is Mass Effect. So if they don't fix this current ending mess then I am completely done with them. If they do a GOOD fix to the endings then I will buy all future ME3 DLC and any ME prequels or spin offs they do.

It's potentially the last game they see money from me on. I have pre-ordered and bought CE/SE's where possible on every release since KOTOR.

I'll be buying used copies of anything interesting, such as DA3, since I have no desire to fund further EA or Bioware titles with their current attitudes towards their customers. Capitalism, voting with my wallet, and all that jazz.

This, so much.

I love BioWare with all my heart.  I hate what EA for what their greed has done to BioWare.

ME3 will be my last purchase from anything EA, most likely.  Not because of the ending fiasco, but it's building up.  First, DA2.  And that one hurt.  Then Crysis 2.  Now Mass Effect 3 was great except the endings, but who knows what will happen to the series going forward.  I'm done with EA, screw them.

So few left to trust in the gaming industry nowadays...  Consumers have to be so damn cautious...

I don't think I'll be pre-ordering from them anymore. Basically the little issues here and there regarding their last few titles have turned me into a more cautious buyer of their games in future. The DLC they're putting together for the ME3 ending might restore some of the faith. Then again it might not...but I'm really hoping it will.

I'm thinking I'm not buying anymore if they don't truly fix this ending. I can't play any games right now. I can't imagine playing something uplifting with hope and getting slammed in the gut again. I won't buy any more games from one person in particular. I may not buy anything from them.

I hear Rocksteady stole Mass Effects playbook. Must be why everyone loves the Arkham City storyline.

I'm buying me some more Rocksteady. You?

I might buy Dragon Age III after doing my research, and any further BioWare games will be taken with a large fistful of salt. I will also be extremely wary of any game where Casey Hudson and Mac Walters are on the team.

At this point, if it has Casey Hudson or Mac Walters on the team, I won't buy it.

Period. :\\

And I'm damn sure not preordering a single thing from them again.

Most likely.

I think that leaves Bethesda, but I'm not even impressed with them so that may leave no instant-buy companies left for me.

CD Projekt Red is an always instant buy now after Witcher and Witcher 2.  Bethesda not so much, they're hit and miss  in all honesty.  Skyrim felt strange to me, honestly.  Great game, but felt disconnected from it after too short of a time with it.  Oblivion and even Fallout 3 did a much better job making me feel connected to the world.

For a sandboxy game, I really wish there were more ways to do things that would permanently impact you and give you a totally different batch of content.  The problem is voice acting, since they don't want to pay people to say fifteen variations for one quest.

Skyrim felt like a number of generic NPC's mashed together in an amazing, complex system of quests but I never felt compelled by any parts of the world or tied to it.  Oblivion, I remember characters from it vividly because some of the quests were over the top.  I don't know the name of a single NPC from Skyrim, nor did I care to know them.

BioWare formerly was an instant buy company for me, but no longer.  Now it's a literal no-buy.  And it's got nothing to do with the ending, even.  Has to do with the complete lack of impact my actions had on the gameplay of the third entry to the series.

If the extended cut is really really good, maybe I'll buy new Bioware's game (in mass effect universe).

ME3 was the last game. I'm not even gonna bother with Dragon Age 3. Why would I? Just to be disappointed again? I don't buy games to get disappointed.
