It will be the last BioWare game I pre order that's for damn sure.
I might buy Dragon Age III after doing my research, and any further BioWare games will be taken with a large fistful of salt. I will also be extremely wary of any game where Casey Hudson and Mac Walters are on the team.

Possibly... I might also check Generals 2

But the whole ending business just left me with such a sour taste that... well, it is sad.

Depends on conclusion.

If current ending truly finale, but only allowed to look at through glasses with new patch, then will disavow Bioware.

If new ending put in, will take next step. Pay it forward. Buy three copies of ME 1, 2, and 3 for random strangers.

Act of good will.

I can subscribe to this I think. :wizard:

I might buy them when the price drops. And it needs to be a big drop.
Never gonna preorder their games ever again.

I seriously, seriously doubt I'll never buy a Bioware game again.

First, this gave me a chuckle. I can hear Mordin in my head saying that as I read it.

Second, I'm definatly buying from Bioware again. They haven't ever let me down that badly that I would consider doing that, and I was disappointed in DA2. Bioware's record is really very good overall, and I think if you say you're not gonna buy from them again just because you didn't like the ending of one game, you're being way too picky.

Depends on this fix. If it fails, then no.

Idea has had little traction.  Every attempt at bringing up has been shot down.

Most disappointing.

It's the last one I'm getting new, that's for sure.

If I were to buy more BioWare games , I'd probably avoid long series . I'd buy only for games that have resolutions in themselves . I would wait until it got really cheap . Maybe a whole year even . Then , if people say it's good I'll probably borrow from a friend , or watch gameplay videos online and then I'd play it .

I know some people (who are NOT amongst the Retake movement) have told me that they're just going to pirate the games on torrent . Interestingly enough , the ones who told me they'd pirate the games are not here because the ones here are actually the ones who WANT BioWare to succeed . The ones who told me they would pirate it simply don't care so they've left and swore off paying BioWare any money . It's ironic that BioWare and all these sites want to kill the Retake movement , but we are only here because we are the ones who didn't like the ending who actually still care about BioWare .

ME3 was my first preorder game ever. This is why I never pre-ordered games ahead of time, I always liked to wait a week or so to gauge reactions. I probably would still have bought ME3 just to complete the trilogy I've invested so much time in, but I'm not going to pre-order or buy a BW game day 1 anymore.

I'm going to watch any game that comes out closely to see if it's something I'm willing to spend my money on, and that saddens me since BW was almost always a instant buy publisher. "It's from Bioware? It's got to be good." no longer applies, I'm afraid.

Somewhere between yes and while new, to no and never, depending on what is added to the game with the ending change. I still have faith that the team at Bioware are up to the task, after all I loved the rest of the game and I'm know they're capable of prviding the ending the game and the fans deserve.

I'd still buy their products.

I wasn't impressed by the endings but they certainly didn't ruin the bulk of the game for me - and the bulk of the game was brilliant. I had fun with it (and still am - working my way through a third playthrough now) and that's how I judge the value of an entertainment product.

Quite possibly, depends how much they f**k up Dragon Age 3. After DA2, which is tolerable and even fun, and ME3's ending, which is absolutely intolerable, I'll be wary of any of their future releases. I pre-ordered DA2 after the playing the demo, even still being unsure of it. DA3 I'll wait for the reviews.

At this point yea, not really expecting to play anything in development atm. Certainly is going to be the last pre order I get from BioWare. As much as I hate to say it, I just can't trust them like I used to, regardless of what happens in april.

Yes. Can't bring myself to buy any more unless this ending is changed. Which sucks, because frankly I want to trust that Bioware aren't telling bald-faced lies when promoting a game, I want to get excited about DA3 and pre-order it immediately

So yeah, no more games without ending change.

I've been loyal to BW since NWN's and have loved almost everything they have created. Unlike many on here I actually enjoyed DA2 very much (recycled maps and clipping notwithstanding.) and they more than made up for that with the DLC.

So, so far ME3's ending has been BW's only misstep as far as I'm concerned.

But I'll be a lot more cautious about buying from BW in the future. I might wait until I read DA3's ending before I buy it.

That depends on what BioWare is going to do about this.

If they're unwilling to comply, then yes. I'm a stubborn and unforgiving guy in this kind of situation.

Well to be fair, they made me almost hate RPG's after playing 90% of Dragon Age 2.

If they don't change the ending of ME3 then yes. If it is changed then maybe. I'm frustrated with Bioware/EA at this point. I'm a consumer and they make a product. If I go to a expensive restaurant, eat a nice meal and find a bug in my soup after I've had the first course, inform the manager, and am told that it was meant to be in there and to deal with it then rather than getting a new bowl of soup then I won't eat there again. The same goes with this game and further purchases.

As I've only been interested in Mass Effect I cannot see how I would want to continue purchasing games from BioWare after this debacle.

I won't be preordering. I'll be waiting to see how the game fares on the forums. They're single player. I don't have be the first on the block to get it.

Quality of EA stuff has gone way downhill in the past decade.
