Not remotely. I was disappointed with the last 5-10 minutes of ME3, I freely admit that, but the rest of the game was fantastic and lived up to everything I expect from a Bioware product. Just as there were a couple things I didn't like about DA2, overall I enjoyed the game a great deal and look forward to its successors.

So long as Bioware continues to put out good games I am not going to lose their phone number over a few disagreements between myself and their development team. At the very worst, though right now I'm not yet there, I would refrain from preordering their next game until I saw the reaction from reviewers whose opinions I trust.

That said, I might be slow to purchase new DLC for Mass Effect, depending on how this current crisis weathers.

Probably. Definitely if ending isn't changed.

Over the weeks after the ending I've begin to like the company less and less.

Too early to tell.

I hope not.

Depends on how much effort they are willing to put into addressing and correcting ME3's ending.

If the ending isn't fixed in an acceptable manner, then yes, it will be the last.

most likely... Last Preorder or Day 1 Buy for sure!
Since i only played the ME Games from BioWare its relatively easy to abandoned them.

i truly feel like Obi Wan after he cut Anakin in two in Episode 3, betrayed :(

i don't think they can fix ME3

I hope not, but then again, one can only take so much disappointment. DAII was bad enough.

Gonna wait and see what happens but unlikely to preorder in future, gonna want to read some reviews first. Not from IGN.

I agree about your thoughts on IGN. Ray Muzyka from Bioware mentioned that they got 9 and up from nearly 75 critics but did any of them mentioned that fan would most probably disappointed with the ending.

No. But it is the last game I will ever pre-order. Next time I'll wait until a few players have beaten the game and reviewed it before taking a chance. I might even wait until GameStop has the pre-played version on sale for cheap.

I know this may be an unpopular decision, but as the other 100 hours of Mass Effect were pretty good, I'd happily buy another Bioware game.

I consider my purchase of ME3 to be my tuition in the School of Hard Knocks.

At the very least, even if the ending is fixed, I am done with pre-ordering. Not just BioWare for that, but ever.

If endings are not fixed, I likely will terminate my relationship with BioWare and EA, and focus on smaller companies for my gaming in the future.

If this was their first failed game then I'd probably give them another chance.
However they did pretty much the same thing with the Dragon Age 2 ending.
They have learned nothing. Why should I assume that future games will be any better?

Nope, I was gun shy about Bioware after Dragon Age 2, but ME3 reaffirmed my faith in their ability to spin a good yarn. No, I didn't care for the ending much (more the sketchiness to it than the Childhood's End aspects), but the rest (you know, 98% of the game) was top notch, with some great characterizations and moments that really pulled at your heart.

I'm glad to see some people can still see how amazing the rest of the game is despite be disappointed in the ending.

ME3 and the way fans have responded have actually made me want to buy even more Bioware games. It is a shame this thread has nothing to do with Story and Campaign discussion, thanks for the spam.

Yeah, probably. I got burned with DA2 & while I enjoyed ME3 I'm starting to realize I don't like the direction to which they're taking their franchises. Maybe later on down the line when they have another IP in a genre I'm interested in, I might give them another shot.

Maybe.  Depends on what they are going to do about the ending.  ME series was the only game I ever bought DLC & Pre-ordered.

I'm quite a fan of their games and enjoy most of them tremendously but there were several things that made me lose faith with BW.

1. Acquisition by EA, I know what EA is capable of... when they bought over Sims from Will Wright.
2. After the debacle in DA2
3. After the debacle in SWTOR

The latest ME3 ending was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Definitely not pre-ordering from them in the future.

Actually, Dragon Age III will have to have near perfect reviews (from fans) for me to buy it.

The only game I will be buying first day, maybe even pre-order, isn't even a Bioware game. :) Arenanet's Guild Wars 2, can't wait. And if that sucks..lol I probably will just stop buying video games period.

Absolutely the last pre-order or collector's edition with BioWare's name on it, and possibly the last game.

Between this, DAII and TOR, there's just too much evidence of them believing their own press and not giving a fig about what the fans think, much less producing quality products.
