A common observation is that krogans can be extremely fun.  It would be a shame if that great potential was wasted.  Although krogans can own the early waves on gold, it is the latter waves that matter, for if a team could not get past the early waves then they have no business playing gold.

Much of the way krogans are built is geared to melee, something which in the last gold waves is not often used.  Because they lack biotic detonations, krogans no longer match up in damage output and scoring when it really matters, on the last waves of gold among the crowds of elites and mini bosses.  To that end, I propose that Bioware add a new class to the krogan people:

Krogan Vanguard

A vanguard who charges with krogan charge. Lest this seem strange, note that In Mass Effect 1 vanguards did not have biotic charge.  At any rate, the name is inconsequential - we can upgrade the sentinel or even call it the krogan adept.

Powers:
Throw will stagger enemies, allowing effective melee as desired, and set off biotic detonations.
Barrier can be purged to Pull nearby targets into the air, ready for detonation, and detonate existing biotic effects.
Lift Grenade  will bring burst damage against both low and high powered targets by setting off biotic detonations in addition to its own damage

The powers are a quick brainstorm: the point is to bring biotics to the krogans in order to balance them.  These ones will not stretch too far beyond their seeming abilities.  The krogan sentinel already has lift grenades, krogans can already fortification themselves, and we've seen Wrex throw salarians.

A fundamental improvement in actually being able to pop biotic explosions next to those casters ensures that, should another biotic be present, these two will bring down any enemy quickly.

Great idea. Now I'll always know who to kick.

Yeah but... A Vanguard without charge is just an adept with crappy abilities.

Krogan needs a keyboard and mouse to play properly.  Sorry, console players

This vanguard can play similarly to the drell Adept.  It actually synergizes very well, and retains the strength of the krogan.  Even Reave and Warp are far better detonated.

After all, we don't all want to play adepts.  Unless the solution is to nerf stasis

Conclusion: nerf stasis

Yes. Lets nerf everything. Then maybe you can be happy.
