Am I the only one that came into ME3 expecting something like this?

I mean, I could link the reality picture of ME3's PICK YOUR COLOR ending, we all have our theories and words for it, so we don't need to walk down that road. But come on, Fallout was released in 1997. It's a top-down isometric semi-turn based shooter (otherwise known as an RPG, lulz) in 2d graphics and its cinematics are arguably "meh". The game is fundamentally different in execution of the RPG elements of the series, for sure, but it shares one major thing with Mass Effect. CHOICE. Hell, you could PERSUADE the last boss into killing himself if you did things right, and it's said you could play the entire game without ever being forced into direct combat if you wanted to. To top it all off, there is a broad spectrum of possible endings for the game, all rather well fleshed out that describe the direct effects of your actions on the world around you.
Without commenting overmuch on the possible shortcomings of other members of the same series, you have to wonder how the hell Bioware decided on what we got and didn't think people were expecting a very fallout-esque ending.
