I've already beaten the game twice now on my soldier and vanguard and in both runs, I never had enough money saved up at any one time to buy any of them. So I just wanted to ask, are the Black Widow, Paladin, and Wraith just straight-up superior to other weapons in their classes? Are they more fun to use in any way?
Are the Spectre Requisition weapons worth the money?

Having bought the Paladin, it compared quite well with my M-6, but in retrospect, I would've been better off using the money to improve the accesories like my armor piercing mod or the ammo capacity for all of my weapons. I think they're probably the best availible of their class, but the cost is too prohibitive unless you're a vanguard and only bother with a shotgun, or something similar.
Still, once you're midway through your third playthrough, you'll just have the money lying around, having bought out all of the other stores, might as well use it then.

As unsatisfying as this answer is, I guess I would say "it depends." General consensus seems to be that they are the best, or among the best, weapons in their classes, but I wouldn't say it's like the Spectre weapons in ME1 where it's just obvious that they're better than everything else. They are also pretty expensive compared to other weapons, so whether it's worth the money is debatable and depends on your class and playstyle.
Personally, I found the Black Widow to be worth the money for my soldier, since being able to fire off three shots in one adrenaline rush was really nice. Can't speak from experience on the other two.

Black Widow is easily the best out of the three Spectre weapons, imho.
Paladin is a glorified Carnifex (not really that much better) and Wraith is a better Eviscerator (Graal easily outclasses Wraith, imho). I am not gonna buy these two ever again in any of my future playthroughs.

My first playthrough I am going to skip ALL the Spectre weapons. Just use that cash to upgrade the DLC weapons and favs. Then on playthrough #2, I will do the opposite, not even use weapons other than the stock ones(mantis I, avenger I), save money, and get all the Spectre weapons. Should be interesting...

Well none of them are really needed on any difficulty, so I'd say not worth it unless you have an affinity for a particular weapon or just want to have them all.
I wish I hadn't wasted credits on the wraith, or upgrading it...

The Black Widow has proven to be my personal favorite out of the Spectre gear, though I must agree that they hardly compare to the Spectre gear from ME.

Black Widow is god tier. The other two are very good, but not must haves.

Once you go black widow you don't go back ...
I got the black widow on my first play through and never switched it out. Also got the paladin and while it doesn't get much use (since I have not run out of ammo with the black widow) it is a nice secondary weapon. Can't comment on the shotgun since not used it. They are worth it if you want them for what they are (like the black widow is slightly weaker than the widow but has 3 shots before reloading). Personally I would say they black widow is worth it for infiltrators, I can take out 3 enemies without reloading now and even big things without reloading.

Black Widow is worth the money - I didn't buy the others to be honest.
But on Insanity, Black Widow is a must for my Infiltrator.

I love my paladin. It has 2 fewer shots than the carnifax, but the extra damage (especially with the mod) more than makes up for it imo. I haven't gotten the others yet, but i have heard that the black widow is death incarnate, and haven't heard a lot of nice things about the shotgun.

The Black Widow is really the only one worth the money, though if you have the N7 Valiant available it's not quite as much anymore.

M-99 Saber is free and is the only gun you need on Insanity. As for the spectre req' I'd say the Black Widow is the only one worth it.

Paladin is worth the money. Used it as a "Sniper Rifle" on my Infiltator on Insanity over the Black Widow. Since a shot on a shielded target can not be a "one hit" and the Paladin has a fire rate of 100 compared to the widows 60 plus it will allow 200% cooldown speed.

Paladin works as a good "Pseudo-Sniper" for non Infiltrator/Soldier classes. Haven't got much use out of the Black Widow yet, but from everything said, it's a worthy investment.

If you disregard weight, yes.
I don't do that though. Too many powers to spam.
My engineer carries the Paladin for fun, and my vanguard uses a Wraith.
To answer the OP's question, all 3 weapons are pretty good. We can argue all days whether they are the best or not, but all of them are good. The differences between them and other weapons in the game are small enough that it's a matter of taste whether you want to use them.
I don't really get why it's a big deal though. You are likely only going to buy one depending on your build/class. And you can easily afford that.

Black Widow has the most use and utility out of all of them, and is certainly worth the money (especially for Infiltrators and Soldiers). The Wraith is much more of a specialty gun, so you'd definitely have to be a Vanguard to use it well (you can use it as a Soldier, but I think the Soldier can use other shotguns better). The Paladin is in a similar position, but it's more suited for caster classes. So basically it's based on what class you play.

The Paladin X can take down regular targets with one body shot on insanity.
Stronger foes like the Marauders or the Centurions will go down from 2-3 shots depending where you hit them. Easily the strongest weapon in the game.
Personally I use the M37 "assault rifle" (shoots grenades) with the damage upgrade and the thermal clip capacity upgrade (offering you 6 shots per clip instead of 1), the Paladin works as my sidearm with a damage upgrade and a scope.
This weapon combination will let you pass through Insanity as if you were playing on narrative.
However you can run out of ammo fast, so you need to hit your targets and not waste any ammo.
The weight of these weapons is also very low, giving you a superbly fast power recharge time, recharging adrenaline rush every 2-3 seconds or so.

I find it weird the weapon mods don't alter their colors.
Yellow is not a good look for a shot gun.
