The Paladin V doesn't seem to be able to do this (headshots work though!). I suppose the X can. But in any case it's like a sniper rifle without the slow firing and the weight. And it has about as many rounds too

I have played both an engineer and an adept with the paladin. I saved up until I could buy it and carried it for the rest of the game. Until I got it upgraded to IV or better I used the capacity mod and the barrel mod. V and beyond I used the barrel and penetration mod.

black widow = no comment, this weapon will make your game boring :-p
paladin = yes, for anyone weak, by weak i mean easily killed, not like vanguard for example. adept is nice example. this weapon is like mini black widow
wraith = on vanguard, its worth it. i dont get why ppl dont like this gun, you can get highest damage possible while still having 2 bullets. and its quite accurate too. the best thing about this is the fact that its much lighter than its rivals geth shotgun and spike shotgun. so yeah, its is worth it, but on vanguard only. you will still have like 190% cooldown reduction with this.

I also think it has a better feel than the spike thrower and GPS. It feels like a shotgun. They do not.

I love the Paladin pistol for my Vanguard. With a good scope and upgrades, it's basically a sniper rifle for a fraction of the weight. And it makes me feel like a badass gunslinger, running from cover and popping off a few shots for one hit kills each (if I get head shots).
