Lets not jump to conclusions, I think it was just server issues. This place has been insanely busy recently, after 4pm on a Friday people are getting out of work/school/etc. Probably just a heavy load.BrotherWarth wrote...
A bit odd I think that just after Bioware's most stalwart defender does a 180 the forums go down for an hour. Bioware trying to limit the damage?

Much better than Colin Moriarty's tripe.
But the more I hear people talk, the more IT makes sense.... in fact its the only thing that makes sense, especially how it fits so perfectly to known facts about Indoctrination.

Somehow, it took the IGN people that long and much effort to come to realize something isn't right with the endings.

In short three guys in basic agreement about the ending and that it has alot flaws, and they seem to agree on the indoctrination theory as well.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist or genius to see or at least understand the plot holes and inconsistencies in the ending.
Somehow, it took the IGN people that long and much effort to come to realize something isn't right with the endings.
And yet the people who hated the endings, as they point blank said were too stupid to understand them for their artistic worth, and now they themselves are just now understanding the plot holes... Yeah pot calling the kettle black.

I suppose that would hinge entirely on wether or not the ending DLC is free or not.
Has "The Truth" DLC rumour even been officially denied?

IGN has burnt a lot of their bridges. I'm not sure they can make up for the garbage we took when retake was just forming.
This is unlikely. It's kind of like a million voices crying out that they'd never watch FOX again after they cancelled Firefly, or that they'd never watch another Lucasfilm after he traded Kashyyk for Endor in Jedi, or that they'd never play another Bioware game after what they did to Anders in between Awakening and DA2.
They are the feeding troth. We, ultimately and shamefully, be piglets.
EDIT- Nevermind. Read this wrong. Thought you were talking about Bioware. My bad.

What they said was that they were against the retake movement as they disagreed with it, BUT that the ending was totally crap.
Casey asked if the ending was really that bad that it ruined the whole game.
Destin (who said he was a huge fan of ME) said that he lacked any motivation to play again knowing that the ending was what he was working toward.
Greg (who did not like ME1 and does not consider himself a 'fan') said that it was just really bad.
They then discussed the ending and pretty much agreed that the only way it really worked was if it is Indoctrination and that the fact that it seems to be Indoctrination leads to a very important question:
Is it okay to deliver an incomplete game? Then they let that drop.
Destin was not cool with the thought that the game was going to get DLC for an ending all along, that it is not fair to the people without internet access.

But it's nice to hear they do employ a few open-minded people who actually CAN see the flaws in ME3.
