God, not getting basic names right is not making them seem very educated about the game.

So, now they're defecting? Wow - bit late to try and save your credibility.

Yup. Too little too late as far as I am concerned.

They shouldn't have behaved the way they did in the first place. It was appalling.

The only way they can make it up now is a big front page apology for all their slander, and to sack Colin Moriarity. At least thats how I feel about it.
If he had worked in any other field and treated his customers like that, he woulda been bounced out the door so fast his head woulda spun; but because its gaming "journalism" it's somehow acceptable. No, not to me it isn't.

Very surprised by this... is IGN swaying to our point of view?
Do they know something we don't?

I think they actually FINISHED the game this time :D

From what I've watched so far, they're actually not doing too bad.

We all know Bioware/EA and IGN are close... I wonder if Bioware leaked them some details about Indoc being true, and they're feeding it to us via this format....

Conspiracies! Whee! :wizard:

Destin is clearly conflicted, subscribes to the Indoc Theory, and both he and Miller are enraged that the game is basically "incomplete."

Colour me surprised. I am not actively watching this, but from what people are saying, if IGN is changing their tone then perhaps things are looking up. IGN was so venomously against us. Curious to hear how it turns out.

I think its probably more likely that someone at Bioware told them to quit being so nasty and venomous, than any genuine change of heart.
If it was genuine it woulda come A LOT sooner.

wait... IGN is now, kinda, on our side? or what? I don't want to support them so I haven't gone to their site for awhile.

Can anyone clarify?

That would make me <3 Bioware a little more if it were true.

Bioware is going to capitalize on this now... because IGN is supporting the Indoc Theory that people here came up with. Calling it now.
Hopefully it pans out.
They're warming us up for the April announcement.
Maybe I'm being waaaay to hopeful.

Could be damage control because there has been an increase in scrutiny on conflict of interest.
