IGN just completely validated the entire retake movement. Wonder if they realized this.

(Says in Shep voice): I'll take it!  This looks like it will come in handy.

To basically sum up for those who didn't watch: While it was clear that Miller doesn't like the idea of end changing DLC, it seemed that all three agreed that the endings were so problematic that they have to be properly addressed by Bioware. It really looked like someone might have told the IGNers to be nice, as, with the exception of Destin, the others took a nearly full 180 in attitude.

It's funny that after bashing us so hard they pretty much agree that this ending makes no sense at all if indoctrination isn't a reality.

I know, I find this hilarious.

Hey Bioware peeps...if your not listening to us will you at least listen to them?

I love that all three of them sided with the indoctrination theory and claimed gamers were angry because it was too much to grasp.

I know that I am only going to be repeating what many others have said, and will say: but how the HECK does that Moriarty fellow say he cannot find anybody at IGN who doesnt like the ending and can find any plot holes, then 3 IGN guys run a 30 minute show that is, to all intents and purposes, the perfect rebutal to Moriarty and in virtual 100% agreement with all the flaws and issues raised by people here on Bioware social?

Did I just witness a parallel universe incident?

Or, is it just that they aren't in the same office, weren't there yesterday or Moriarty and his pal dont talk to anybody else in IGN?

Its, frankly, bizarre, but i am very glad I watched it.

Go IGN... wow (go figure that)

Don't think so, but we can say that their EMS in opposing us has been weakened.

Well the tide's turning, if other industry professionals start calling them out on the ending being an absolute mess they may finally had to address it directly.

EDIT:  BTW does anyone know how the Forbes thing went?

It was good because there was no Colin Moliarty. The things that I didn't agree with, they were able to show their side without being ignorant and just flat out insulting people. It was quite good.

Next coming up is this guy Luzarius' thoughts on the ending. He RP-ed as a pro-human & no death playthrough and chose the destroy ending. I think it's on at 5PM EST, but some people are already on the chat in case anyone wants to watch. Luz is pretty open minded, so it should be interesting.

The problem here is the two are mutually exclusive.  You can't address the ending without an ending DLC.

That was a surprisingly good discussion. They seemed to really support the indoc theory. TBH, whether or not indoc was intended from the start, it's pretty much a gift for bioware right now. They can say 'yep, indoc' and all the people who put work into finding all the evidence for it will feel extra clever, and it's still not a huge departure for the few people who like the arty stuff.

Probably saw their Mass Effect ending change poll and shat their pants when they realised they were insulting majority of their readers.

Yeah, that was a little strange. It felt like the whole 'you guys don't get it' argument, except this time it was because Shepard's 'obviously' indoctrinated. Odd change of pace.
