Though I did want to jump Jack and give her lemon sex, and was unable to. Dammit.

1- Voice acting is much better. Jennifer Hale does an excellent job comparing to her counterpart. She is a perfect VA.
2- It is nice to see a good-looking female around and to create a female that i wanted to.
3- It is also good to see a strong female character around with high self-confident but don't get me wrong, i am not into such things !

Why do people think it's weird when men play as women, but not when women play as men?

My Barbie taught my GI Joe how to do Jiujitsu.
You could ask, but do you really want to . . .

LOL No, she loves the series. But she's a director on Family Guy & Fox studios cracks the whip a lot. She puts in 12+hr days with annoying frequency.

Funny, you described how I feel about Jennifer Hale's delivery.Lincoln MuaDib wrote...
I prefer Hale's acting to Meer's, but I have love for Meer. I think they were given different direction- Mark was told to act his "Tough, no-nonsense Commander, straightedge"

Also, I find Jennifer Hale's delivery warmer and slightly more emotive than Mark Meer's. That's no slight against him in any way - he could only read the lines as he was directed to, as did Ms Hale. But I just find her voice very easy to listen to.
And there is just something incredibly cool about a badass action heroine running around saving the galaxy, dressed in armour and carrying a big gun, kicking the **** out of the bad guys and taking none in return.

Honestly, I dont know any women that play male Shepard. Id be interested to hear some reasons that women who do play guy Shep choose to do so.
I'd rather stare at ManShep's leather jacket when playing a game for 30+ hours than overalls.

And when the average play-through is 30-40 hours for any of the ME games, I'd rather listen to a voice that lends credence to the role of Commander Shepard, rather than someone just narrating a script.
Though to be fair to Meer, being a comedian, it actually fits him a bit better if you choose to play comic-renegade type. Like the "big stupid jellyfish" thing from ME1, and his general dead-pan delivery of what could be punch-lines, but sounds completely different when Hale delivers it.
