When the backlash from their announcment that they are doing next to nothing to change the ending occurs, I may actually begin to feel bad for Bioware. These forums have been bad enough at some points already but I fear it will be nothing compared to what happens when this announcement is made.

The problem is that some people don't really care, they just want attention. And what way to do that is easier than spam everywhere with how something sucks? There's no reaching out to them, and they're ruining it for the rest of us trying to discuss the matter in a civilised way.

We're gonna have trolling and spamming, no matter which way Bioware go.

"Closure" is like one out of 10 items on the list.

Closure and clarifications were the main argument from the beginning.  Yes, the endings aren't that varied, but if BioWare doesn't want to undo their entire work in that area and just improve it, that's completely in their right and fans should respect that.

They are moving in the right direction.  Wait to see what they actually have planned next month before judging where it's actually going.

And the problem is that there has been a ton of statements from fans wanting several different things. Some want the indoctrination theory to be true, some just want some clarification on what the heck is going on, and some are fine with things the way they are. And then some want a completely rewritten end entirely.

This place is going to be worse than it has been the last two weeks when they do announce specifics on how they're gonna handle this.

There is literally nothing that they can do that won't cause a backlash. They are basically in damage control mode now. I honestly feel bad for them.

I love a little good ole' doomsaying. I am actually starting a petition against Bioware, yeah, they ruined charities for me. It is because of ME3, the troll group known as RETAKE was created and this group then abused a charity to further their own cause. Thanks a lot Bioware, you created RETAKE and now I cannot be happy.

Also, DLC sales will be fine, just as long as you package a MP map pack, sales will be through the roof.

the only 2 things people demand is closure and choice

now realisticly speaking do you think bioware should invest and redo the entire thing by giving you that choice?

i just feel that if more choices were in the final product people wouldnt be this butt hurt about star child or the normandy crashing

when posters demand something they arent being very specific enough

even going as far to say everything from bioware is a lie imo is drastic and holds no substance 

i think we can all agree that w/e bioware does some fan will go out and say i didnt get what i asked for

It definitely seems like something that will be an issue. I was very upset with the ending of ME3 and it's really hindered my desire to do more play throughs. I would love to see new endings, but this seems like a go big or go home kind of thing.

People will be upset either way and no one will be happy if you choose a compromise.

That way, when they suck, at least they didn't make any money off of me.

They do that and who do they expect to buy their future games and DLC products.  They need to face facts, we are the fanbase.  If they haven't appealed to the current generation of CoD gamers yet, they never will.  Time to go back to what put them on the map.
