I can almost guarantee another backlash. Seeing what the people on the internet are capable, combined with several opinions on how the ending should or shouldn't change, toes will be stepped on, and we'll be back to square one on how Bioware "doesn't listen to it's fans".
I really hope they get the message. Fool me once shame on me................
Needless to say they better have some real magic of their own.
The problem is that some people don't really care, they just want attention. And what way to do that is easier than spam everywhere with how something sucks? There's no reaching out to them, and they're ruining it for the rest of us trying to discuss the matter in a civilised way.
We're gonna have trolling and spamming, no matter which way Bioware go.

All for the possibility of Shepard and his LI.
Fix the plotholes.
Give a quality epilogue.
I will be happy.
Sadly, I very much doubt I'll get any of that.
Bioware has dug itself a mighty big hole, and i don't see it recovering.
I'm pretty agree with you...
They will try to make money on us, but be sure that I will wait from review before buying anything (and not review of IGN or the others 74...)
JPR out!
A review?
I'm going to watch the full walkthrough of it.

They can't explain something that can't be explained. **** is going to down in April and it isn't going to be pretty for any of us.
It's going to be bad.
...and useless. BioWare will just dismiss us as unreasonable whiners then... and this time for good.
Do you have factual information to back that up?
No?
You can't cheat people emotionally over and over again. It's going to be ugly from all fronts, not just just from the players.

The fans no longer matter. EA's shareholders do.
Take a good look at this quote and keep it in the back of your head from now on. Couldn't be more accurate.

Woopsadaisies! We didn't realise this was going to be so hated. We've heard the feedback, it's going to take some time but we'll look at a way of making an extension that continues on from the Indoc theory. From that point on your EMS and previous actions will dictate how you do in a final showdown. This is all going to take some time to plan and make so please bear with us. We hope to cover a reasonably broad range of potential outcomes from total success to utter failure. While it might not be possible to fulfil everyone’s perfect outcome we hope this will provide a satisfying conclusion to the game, its story and the trilogy as a whole. We do however ask that personal attacks on the development team from a minority of individuals cease. Please be patient.
Yeah, that'd make me happy.

I can't wait to NOT buy DLC if their fix doesn't deliver. On the flip, if I feel like I enjoeyed myself with a new finish, sky is the limit for DLC.Mesmurae wrote...
It won't be long before Bioware is wondering why their DLC sales are tanking so badly.

funny seeing people have stated closure is what they wanted
"Closure" is like one out of 10 items on the list.
Closure and clarifications were the main argument from the beginning. Yes, the endings aren't that varied, but if BioWare doesn't want to undo their entire work in that area and just improve it, that's completely in their right and fans should respect that.
They are moving in the right direction. Wait to see what they actually have planned next month before judging where it's actually going.

I think they have no idea what the fans want, it’s going to enrage everyone all over again
And the problem is that there has been a ton of statements from fans wanting several different things. Some want the indoctrination theory to be true, some just want some clarification on what the heck is going on, and some are fine with things the way they are. And then some want a completely rewritten end entirely.
This place is going to be worse than it has been the last two weeks when they do announce specifics on how they're gonna handle this.

Also, DLC sales will be fine, just as long as you package a MP map pack, sales will be through the roof.

"Closure" is like one out of 10 items on the list.
but it still is pretty much demanded am i wrong?
the only 2 things people demand is closure and choice
now realisticly speaking do you think bioware should invest and redo the entire thing by giving you that choice?
me personally i just sit on the sidelines and watch this be blown way out of controll on both sides
i just feel that if more choices were in the final product people wouldnt be this butt hurt about star child or the normandy crashing
when posters demand something they arent being very specific enough
thats what i have been saying since this all started
bashing ign or w/e for likeing something isnt gona fix the situation
even going as far to say everything from bioware is a lie imo is drastic and holds no substance
i think we can all agree that w/e bioware does some fan will go out and say i didnt get what i asked for
im speaking to you peacefully because i want you to hear what i think on the situation that is all

They do that and who do they expect to buy their future games and DLC products. They need to face facts, we are the fanbase. If they haven't appealed to the current generation of CoD gamers yet, they never will. Time to go back to what put them on the map.
I hate seeing people change so they can fit in more, it's just sad.
