If nothing else, can you please fix your journal/mission log? It's like 3 steps back.

Mass Effect 1 had a more intuitive and accurate system for tracking mission progress and information. This would be a simple patch job compared to the other complaints, so please release it in some future update.

If they fix it than you won't rely on MP and that's exactly what they want.

The journal needs to be fixed, it's **** as how it is now.

It does not update when you get a item (artifact or something else). Quests don't update and i wonder what reason their was to leave it as how it is now.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 had a great system.

^^ This.

It's an especially glaring issue when you consider that many sidequests become locked after a certain point.

I don't understand why they changed it.

I just wish it was what it was like in Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Honestly, I don't understand why the Journal doesn't have clickable drop downs...but your War Asset menu does. It's like the exact same menu.

it is pretty wretched. I do have something that at least might help you since all turn in's are at the citadel. If you have no idea if you have an item just go to that area pull up the map and if you have an item the npc that you need to turn in will show up on your map, If you dont they wont show up on the map. I know its not ideal but it has helped me.

Yes, this please. I had to print out a guide to figure out where certain stuff was because it doesnt show up on the galaxy map either.

I hope they at least fix the bugs. Switching between the journal and codex panes resets the sort order and screws up the selection.

Other than that, I don't think they'll change it. Which is sad, because as everyone notes, it's basically useless.

Never thought of this, this was actually one detraction from me finishing the quests as well. I got lazy and said screw it I will play MP for my EMS.

Yes please, journal needs to be fixed. This is one big problem, why it doesn't update as we progress through different steps of a quests?

I am a working man, who has a very active life....... sometimes i dont play the game for days and when i get back to it, it takes me ages to figure out at which part of a quest I am.

I think they botched the journal system on purpose as a way to push more people towards multiplayer as a way to raise EMS.

No, the journal change was an artistic choice. And we must respect artistic integrity. It's ART!!! Image IPB Image IPB

Please fix this, please fix that.

Now I agree, the journal system is terrible compared to ME1 and 2, but I don't think they're going to go out of their way to fix that. It's Bioware of 2012!

That's an understatement.
