Let us say that you had an NPC over for a slumber party and you had a bunk bed. Would they perfer the top or bottom?

Alistiar: bottom
Zevran: bottom
Morrigan: bottom

Anora: top
Sten: top
Wynne: top

Leliana: Which ever you prefer.
Oghren: ???
Shale: top (and then you die)

Sten would be bottom.

Can you imagine those legs hanging off the sides? Man that must be uncomfortable as hell.

I'm on top. Screw them. I love heights. Grew up on a bunkbed.

You don't know what a bunk bed is?

Would the NPC prefer the top or the bottom bunk?

I think Oghren would be safer on the bottom, but he probably prefers the top.

Sten is totally a top. He would claim that the altitude helps him train, but he really just likes the whimsy of it.

I had quite a long chat over whether Zevran is a top or bottom.
By the end we agreed that he's versatile, he doesn't care what bed he takes.

Oghren on the bottom.

He's always talking about how he misses the 'ceiling' of Orzammer.

Oghren top? No way, he's already got fears of floating away into the sky already, there's no way he'll pick the top bunk.

Hilarious!
As for Leliana, I'd guess bottom.

hmm viewing this completely innocently

Alistair: Bottom, so he could give snarky comments to you in the middle of the night and make sure you hear them. If you don't he can kick you or poke you.

Zevran: I could see him liking to be on Top. Like its whimsical and he gets to be a kid again.

Morrigan : Bottom. So she can make sure you don't bother her...in a way Alistair would (if he were on bottom).

Anora: Top - wants to feel like a princess. And if you don't care what she has to say, she can just pretend you are listening since she isn't seeing you.

Sten: hmmm, tough. I could see him not caring. He would probably go with Bottom. If he weighs more than you - which is likely.

Wynne: Top. Since she is trusting you won't disrupt her sleep. And she likes freedom. Top is less constrained.

Leliana: Yeah I could see her trying to talk to you from above or below.

Oghren: I'd say top for some reason. He would rebel against his dwarven ways.

Shale: Yes she would go on top. She wants to crush you.

ultimately:

Top- Anora, Wynne, Shale, Oghren, and Zevran

Bottom- Alistair, Morrigan, and Sten

Either- (agreed with Maria on) Leliana.

No euphemisms that I can detect... I think she really means the question to be taken at face value.

TO my mind, there is both a pride and a risk to being on the top bunk. Pride, in that you have the high ground, but risk in that you have to climb up to it. And people can ogle/tickle you while you climb with your rear exposed. That's what I'd worry about, at least.

Some, however, like the safe (if relatively humble) comfort of the bottom bunk. But these people put themselves at the mercy of their betters: what if the top-bunker wets the bed?

The true survivors, the misanthropes, and the mistrustful know that the best place to sleep if the floor of the closet. Its a rough sleep, but a self-sufficient and prepared sleep.

So with that in mind, here's my list:

Top: Anora, Loghain, Oghren, Zevran, Dog

Bottom: Alistair, Wynne, Leliana

Floor: Sten, Morrigan, Shale

Depends on how high the ceilings are, obviously. If it's a tall bed and a low ceiling he'd feel even better on the top. Plus, I've seen the layers of Orzammar, and the top layers = nobility and fanciness. He'd be all about that.

I dunno, I think Oghren's the type to keep his feet as low to the ground as much as possible. I mean, 6 feet in the air, since he's already there, there's no ground to stop him from floating up!

He'll throw up all over the bed, I think.

I agree with Maria except Oghren seems like a bottom to me. To lazy to climb on top.

He would look so cute up there though.

Dog would want to sleep wherever the PC slept. But with my PC, he'd get the floor.

You would deny Dog the bed? :(
I think, judging by his size, Dog sleeps wherever he wants.

The dog needs to be otuside the room protecting the bunk bed.

We all saw what happens when you let him sleep in the room:

1) Howe's Guards sneak in

2) Dog can't open the door so he just barks

3) Someone gets shot
