There is no justification for the end.It was poorly done.It sure as hell wasn't deep.If they don't want to live up to their hype well no problem.I already saved 15 bucks this month for unsubbing. After DA 2 and now this no thanks. If BW wants to continue in this direction it is their choice. It is my choice if I want to follow.

No new endings? Just clarification to mop up the crap? You have got to be kidding me.

Seems not. They're so married to that lice ridden **** of an ending that they'd rather waste their savings and  dignity dressing her up than just dumping her ass on the curb where she belongs.

I don't think they were working on anything post-ending... ;( It really is to quick to release something substantial in April, so either they release a "video" of some sort showing us how our Shep dies, the crew kills itself on the jungle-planet and the alien races slowly starve in the diff. star systems OR they give us info in April about a bigger DLC coming up this year.

BioWare will give us more info on what they have planned in April, not the possible DLC itself. Corp speak aside, the good doctor said that much.

Also called putting lipstick on the pig.

Here are the Twitter comments in case people don't want to cut and paste:

Fan: "I'm hearing rumours that ME3 ending is going to be changed..."

BioWare: "Not changed, but we are creating new content to clarify and add closure. That's all."

So what if no new endings the whole idea of them changing the ending was ridiculous from the start. Yes there were some plot holes but personally i didnt care that much. Now if the support the ending with the indoctornation theory good for them because it has some basis and would be nice as a finale and almost nothing to change. If the really were about to change the finale personally i would have lost all faith in them and delete all mass effect games and never play them again.

Good point about the "ending": the music was really great. That's about it. Apparently I got the "perfect" ending but I didn't know that there was such a thing.

I never expected them to outright change the endings. If it's actually done well then I don't have a problem with them just expanding upon what's already there, I just want the plot holes filled in (through explanation, at least) and closure on exactly what happens now (both in-game and franchise-wise).

I just hope it will be enough to make the ending at least satisfactory though, and I'm worried that it won't be. No matter how much you polish a turd it's still a load of ****.

See but thats the point you might as well do that anyway because they have nothing to do wiht the ending thats the problem with the plot holes that exist in the current ending, they invalidate the entire plot of the first game so ME 1 might as well be its own separate game that has nothing to do with ME 2 and ME 3

You know what the first step is when you find yourself trapped in a hole. STOP DIGGING!!!

Bioware needs to add better endings not expand on the crap.

Didn't expect a new ending, especially after the docs statement. It's fine for those where clarification is their only gripe with the ending. For myself however, I'm going with the polishing a turd analogy and won't be buying it. If it's free then okay, if it costs money only a new ending will do.

It is so much easier to spread crap than it is to clear it up.

I hope they give Mass Effect the ending it deserved, but I doubt it.

At this point I'll take what I can get, I want my life back! It's 1.30 in the morning and I can't sleep because those stupid endings keep going round and round in my head trying to make sense of them - anyone got a valium?

One bit of solace we can all take in this is how funny it is going to be to watch Bioware try and fill the plotholes.

Seriously, somewhere in the bowels of Edmonton, a few of their writers are thinking to themselves "oh sh*t..... we just screwed ourselves".

No, but I have foam sealant which should come in handy to fill all the massive plot holes!
EDIT: 1:30 and I can't type properly anymore.

After all this, I think they've dug a hole they cannot get out of it.

Their one chance was honestly to do it over.

And that's not happening, so...

Are you kidding me! Lots of speculation for everyone then sell us the closure in DLC.
I am at a loss for words. Just wow! Almost appears to be the plan from the start.
