Alrighty, so I just finished the first "Priority: Citadel" mission and I was just about to go get the Prothean Squad member. However, when I get to Eden Prime nothing happens. Am I here too soon? At what point can I get this squad member because I think it's kind of bogus that I already completed one complete playthrough and didn't find him. Why is a DLC character so hard to find?

You should be able to land on Eden Prime as long as you have the mission "Priority: Eden Prime" in your journal. If it isn't there then you can't land on it. Make sure it's in your journal before going there.

And...how do you get it in your journal? There's no mention of it in the walkthrough.
