I come into this post knowing most of these have probably already been said, discusssed, and gone over. However, I would like to give my viewpoint simply because I'd like my voice to be one of the ones out there, supporting those that are more vocal than I on this subject. I won't be too long with it, so hopefully this should be a relatively quick read.

My first issue is the "choices" we're given. Like many, I was waiting for the opportunity to renegade interrupt and put a bullet, effective or not, through the Godchild's forehead. The damned thing killed generations upon generations upon generations of sentient beings. I, and certainly not my Shepard, am not going to sit around and listen to the damn thing.

Two was the reactions of team members. As has been said, it goes completely against their established characters. More explanations would be nice, but I'd much rather see them do what they would normally; stick it out and fight to the end.

The whole thing is missing so much. Resultions from different characters, a discussion with Harbinger, and so much more that I won't get too in to.

More than anything, it boils down to this. Based on your previous work, I tend to assume that the Bioware writing crew consists of experienced writers. Unfortunately, this ending is something that a freshman writing major would put out in half an hour of work. I'm not meaning to be insulting, but a bunch of the most basic ending no-no's were included in this. You added a new character, introduced new concepts to the series, changed entire plot structures around, ignored things done previously in the game, introduced a twist without any sort of foreshadowing or even the slightest hint at it, and so on. If I submitted this to my professors back in college I would be laughed out of their offices, and if the writer of a novel submitted it to a publisher they would be told to change the ending drastically. I love the writing in the rest of the series, and was genuinely surprised to see it fall apart at the very end in such a dramatic fashion.

I've seen some evidence that you're thinking of adding more to the ending, but not changing it. Unfortunately, I don't think that would be the best decision you could come up with. It may be a matter of money, or something like that, and it's your decision in the end. However, based on the ending itself, it's not something that can be "adjusted". It's something that needs drastic re-writing and revision before it can be called the ending to a series as spectacular as Mass Effect has been.

I could say so much more here, but I don't want to drag on, so I'll close it. I know this probably won't get too far before being pushed off the edge of the forum, but I still wanted to write it and get my opinion out there. For whoever may read this, thanks for your time.

Liara abandoned her partner on the battlefield for some reason.
Garrus abandoned his ex.
