Why? To increase sales of ME3 in Japan, and that's the only reason. Opening new markets snaking new costumers blah blah blah, i mean come on, other than EA being the publisher, why did we get armour for playing the KoA demo? To get the ME fans to try out another game to see if they could talk them into buying it.
So FF14-2 gets some N7 gear, it's all just to make happy Japanese people thinking about trying me3, and hopefully, buying the back catalogue of me1&2 as well.
It's not about trying to make me3 fans to play FF. because lets face it, FF reached it's peak at number 6.

So I take it you're not a fan of JRPGs...

Chill out. It's not that big a deal. It's there for people who want it.

...Caius should've gotten Reaper/Collector armor to match. :P

I like SOME JRPGs. recent Final Fantasies are just not part of the list for the emo git **** since the 7th one. However, they crossed a line I never imagined they could actually cross in terms of pathetic ridiculous uninterresting characters. it's as bad or maybe even worst than FFX...

but I like some JRPGs... NieR was fun and interresting, White Knights Chronicles had potential ruined by a weird execution. and of course Pokémon is always my guilty pleasure...

>Didn't like Final Fantasy 8

Your opinion is invalid.

Anyway, it's a great little tac on for people who pick up FFXIII-2, I know when I borrow it from a friend later I may pick them up. Calm the **** down before you have an aneurism and just don't buy it. Still better than ME3's ending!

as much as I don't like ME3's ending for being illogical and filled with plotholes... I'd rather play it for a week than play FFXIII-2.

Since they're N7 now...

When can I expect to recruit them on to the Normandy? Hmm..

It's from The Ring. I remember because of all of the reasons I hated about that movie, that scene was probably the biggest.

They're obviously the missing war assets we need to beat the damn thing on single player only.

Because getting this into FF was more important than working on their own game.

Zing!

putting their names on the Normandy's monument would be an insult to everybody else on it.

no.

Dead Space 2's Isaac armour in Dragon Age II was as dumb as FFXIII-2's N7 armour. I looked horrible and it was not subtle. But at least it was free if you like Dead Space AND Dragon Age..

Please don't give Square Enix and EA more collaborative ideas.

Do... Do I even need to explain my point ?!? I will anyway...

Why would you actually let Square Enix release a Scam DLC of something that could have been fanmade and modded for free, for two goddamn bucks. Why would you actually consider that an N7 armour in a Final Fantasy game is a good idea ?!? It makes no GODDAMN SENSE. I thought BioWare was a little more respectful with their properties. More subdelty I mean, like the Blood Dragon Armour : designed to fit in the Mass Effect setting, has a funny little joke backstory with a pun, and of course : FREE considering it's a gift for those who bought Dragon Age : Origins. or even better : the Kingdom of Amalur one which looks nice (feels like a Warhammer 40K item, pretty badass...) , I don't know its backstory yet however and even better, it was 100% FREE YOU HAD TO PLAY A DEMO...

the difference between these items in ME2/3 and that N7 armour in FFXIII-2 is that they actually promote very well what they sell while being subtle and not alienating...

This alternate costume DLC thing in what I consider so far the worst game of the year : it's not subtle because it totally doesn't fit in FFXIII-2. You have to pay for it so You or They at Square Enix or whoever wants us to PAY FOR A COMMERCIAL. and It's DOESNT FIT AT ALL WITH THE SETTING... I mean look at this ?!? who thinks it actually worth 2 ****ing bucks ?!?

Image IPB

Look at this little ****ing emo git wearing the same armour as the legendary Commander John Mother****ing Shepard ?!? Look at this insolent piece of crap with his horrible over-the-top hairs, and his **** who dyed her hairs with Bazooka Joes bubble gum... look at these monstrocity from the anus of a cocained japanese character designer wearing an awesome piece of cloth from a legitimate decent Space Opera setting. I just want to punch them in the face for being so disrespectful to the uniform by simply wearing it...

And then, BioWare, you really want us to consider your games as art ?!? as much as I like them, I can't consider any of your games as ''pieces of art'' if you're disrespectful with your work, by simply letting them do that, and asking for money for that... I mean... what the ****...

to everybody who never played this piece of ****, FFXIII-2 had an ending even worst than ME3 and in overall while ME3 is a great experience 'til the last 5 mins, FFXIII-2 is a painful experience from the very first seconds to the very end. if this is how as a Mass Effect fan you learned the existence of FFXIII-2, DO NOT BUY, FFXIII-2 IS THE WORST GAME OF THE YEAR (so far).

Overreacting much? lol

Bioware and EA games do a lot of small crossovers. Letting Square-Enix use the N7 suit is a friendly gesture.

Considering some of the things Bioware higher ups have said about Square Enix and FF13, seeing a friendly gesture is a refreshing change of pace.

Long story short, get over yourself. If you don't want the armor, don't buy it. And if you think FF13-2 is so bad, don't play it.

Ah, just not a fan of FFXIII then? I can understand that. It's not everyone's cup of tea.

Anyway, like I said, this is just a little fun thing for fans who enjoy both series - like me. I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)
