I have to admit, its kinda pathetic seeing people under the deluded impression that SE making a costume for their game took away resources from ME3. I think my eyes are rolling so much they resemble a slot machine in action.

For clarification on what that phrase means, I will use this image. I think it's self explanatory.

KAWAII DESU NEEE! GIVE ME MY HUSBANDUS!

fan service: fine when you are the one being given it, whorism and proof that BioWare is sold out when someone else gets it.
no.
Dead Space 2's Isaac armour in Dragon Age II was as dumb as FFXIII-2's N7 armour. I looked horrible and it was not subtle. But at least it was free if you like Dead Space AND Dragon Age..
Right, so I rephrase it:
Fan Service: fine when you are the one being given it and appreciating it, whorism and selling out when someone else is happy about it.
Got it.

Pretty sure there is, or is going to be, an Ezio Auditore costume (from Assassin's Creed: Revelations) in FF13-2 as well. Haven't seen any AC fans lose their crap over something so insignificant.
It's just extra advertisement in places where you otherwise wouldn't get it. Don't see anyone up in arms because Bayonetta is in Anarchy Reigns, Ezio in Soul Calibur 5, Akira in DOA5, and so on. Don't like it, don't indgule in it. For everyone else who is interested, it pleases them, and gives more publicity/money to the respective company.

The Retake people are going to completely lose their **** if a FFXIII costume DLC comes out before something that "fixes" the endings.

Could've been the exact same thing but more subtle and done right, this thread wouldn't exist... or it would be ''hey look they made ME3 related stuff in FFXIII-2''...

... Yeah, cuz Bioware are totally devoting their time to developing DLC for FF13-2 as opposed to Mass Effect 3 while Square-Enix just sit and chill.
I support Retake and I don't even understand why this would conceivably ****** off anyone in the retake movement. I don't even get this rage topic to be honest.

I was referring to the rumored reciprocal FFXIII costume DLC for ME. Not this.
It makes me gag myself but it's not worth the rage.

Ah right, sorry, my bad.
I doubt we'd get reciprocal DLC, but if we were then that would probably get under a lot of people's skin. Can't say I'd be fussed myself, but there are odd ones out there.

I have no idea about any FF game. but unless BioWare comes up with a REALLY GOOD fix for the endings, the title "worst game of the year" is already taken by Mass Effect.

Seriously. A two dollar costume pack. Totally optional. Who the bleeding frick CARES? So what if it can be fan-modded in? Maybe some of us might want N7 armor in our FFXIII-2 without having to go out of our way to mod our consoles to get it, ever consider that? Last I checked, modding a console was a helluvalot more of a hassle than forking over those two dollars' worth of Microsoft Points you'd never have gotten 'round to spending, anyway.

Because of the last five minutes.
No matter how invested you are in the story of the characters, IF YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT, THEN YOU NEED TO SORT OUT YOUR PRIORITIES.
Nobody, but NOBODY, judges such an all-encompassing thing as "worst game of the year" based on something as contained and specific as an ending.
