Actually, I redact that. I could have sworn that I read something about how Square Enix was co-publishing ME3 in Japan with EA due to the latter not having a strong presence there, but I can't seem to find anything solid on that.jreezy wrote...

I agree with everything you said. Everything. FFXIII and FFXIII-2 were awesome.
That's all.

You actually enjoyed these horrible hallways ?!? the senseless story ?!? these annoying as **** character ?!? the creepy shameless sexual fan service on a 13 or 14 year old character (Pedobar approves where Vanille's tattoo is situated... gawd I felt extremely dirty by simply WATCHING THE ****ING CUTSCENE !)
the ''Win Button'' bull**** ?!? you like to scan a type of monster then press X to auto-win the goddamn fight ? (or A if you play on the inferiour Xbox version)
maybe there was no hallways in XIII-2, it doesn't matter because the story was UBER CLICHÉ GARBAGE and there was MOOGLES
please, if you like the JRPG genre as a whole, good for you, I don't even though I find some pretty cool exceptions time to time... But please be ****ing serious for a second and look at what you have in your goddamn hands, then compare it with the rest... my 4 YO niece can write characters with far more depth and originality than piece of ****.
In the Spoony we ****ing trust, Final Fantasy is pure garbage... you may say from the 8th game, I say from the 7th one and NOTHING since then has ever been good in Final ****tasy... Except FFIX maybe, because it has this ''SNES Era''-like setting and original characters.

I used to be a huge fan of JRPGs and played them to the exclusion of all else, but as I got older they just didn't appeal to me as much until I was finally just fed up and stopped playing them all together. JRPGs are geared towards young teenagers and I haven't been one of those in a very long time. If Bioware games start going in that direction then I'm out for good.

Merging bioware games with JRPGs in any way can only lead us down a sad and horrible road. It starts with N7 armor and DA2 elves, but soon enough we'll have emo whiney characters with retarded and impossible hair, shallow nonsensical plotlines, and romance that makes twilight look deep and insightful. Ugh no please no.

JRPGs are geared towards teenagers? Couldn't you say that about ANY game really? Its like saying CoD is only for 12 year olds
But seriously I still love certain JRPGs, granted I cant play them like i used too (some bore to me to tears now a days) but every now and again comes a long an awesome JRPG, like the Shin Megami Tensei series ( I absolutely love PE3 and PE4...anxiously await PE5,) and the Tales of series has always been fun (still trying to tear myself away from my ME3 kick to play more Graces F.
Some of them still have great stories to boot

As for JRPG, it's kinda true many of them are geared towards teenagers but not all of them.

For someone who hasn't been a teenager in "a very long time," they sure retained their bigoted, one-dimensional teenage perspective well.Nefla wrote...

Pfft. You couldn't hurt my feelings. The breadth of the brush stroke that you used to paint an entire genre did astound me though.Nefla wrote...

LOL have you have to say FF is REALLY trying every trick in the book this time.
Other way around. This is EA's attempt to get people to notice ME in Japan. There was also a manga released for the same purpose.
