Does this mean Mass Effect is canon in FF now?

My guess is Square Enix is doing "Playarts Kai" ME3 action figures for Bioware & EA anyway, and they are letting the N7 armour be used in FFXIII-2 DLC for some extra $$$ too.

Not that big of a deal, just your typical fanservice...for $2...that's the cost of a coffee...why is anyone complaining?

I thought the topic title was a joke.
Then I found out this was a real thing.
I... I don't get it. I'm not upset like some crazy people in the thread are. I just don't get it. This has got to be the most random cross-IP content I've ever seen. At least putting Marcus and Dom in Lost Planet 2 kind of made sense, since LP2 took inspiration from the Gears franchise.

Bioware says they hate XIII but you forget that enemies are usually brought together by the power of greed. Money can turn your enemy into an ally (unless the enemy is an emotionless robot).
In some way both XIII and ME are now on the same boat in terms of reception from fans (specifically endings in XIII-2 and ME3).
P.S. There's not law saying one can like both Final Fantasy XIII and Mass Effect 3.

Hell, if they really want, they can put Final Fantasy DLC into Mass Effect. So long as it's optional, obviously, because I certainly wouldn't buy it

Oh wow, news of this (extremely old by now, I know this thread is also 3 months old shu'up D:<) DLC is so severe to some of you you act as if it burned your home, broke your face and massacred your family at first sight. And FYI, they stopped making XIII-2 DLC a recently to my knowledge. I guess BW's cut in all this was those ME Play Arts KAI figurines. I just find it how amazingly laughable some people are taking a piece of DLC for a game they are probably never gonna play.
Stay classy BSN.

Your'e looking at the thread. Too many care a bit too much apparently for a game they'll probably never even touch.

Mass Effect has become Bioware's sell-out **** franchise. That's not news, though.

WHY DOES THIS ARMOR LOOK SO MUCH MORE DETAILED THEN IT DID IN MASS EFFECT!?
I know it looks weird and FF13+2 is generic and terrible, even for a FF game, but damn that look good! I played on PC at maximum no problem and the armor still looked blurry in places.

^Err, honestly? To me it looks like a bunch of milk bricks which were badly sewn together...But that's not the point. I just think it looks silly. Makes me think of that Mass Effect book called Deception or something...It's hilarious how EAware is raping its own franchise time upon time again. I honestly have stopped caring.

Not sure whether it's milk bricks, btw. Think I'm confusing it with the Dutch word. Just think of cardboard boxes as a comparison then.

Don't take me wrong, I got nothing against the Final Fantasy games. I just don't like cross-overs which disrespect the lore, that's all. But oh well, either it's money or 'artistic integrity' nowadays...
