I came across this article. It was a good read, and thought it to be good to share it.

Indoctrination theory is a theory that relies on coincidences. The evidence as to why it was not intended is that it is a bad strategy in terms of plot. Think about it, if the intent was to deceive then the game would have made you aware of the deceit at the end. There are many people who are going to play this game and move on. If indoctrination was right then these people will never be made aware and the writer loses the opotunity to do so.

It's a bad strategy.

indoctrination theory would be the best solution. it would wipe away this nightmare and allow for even more future dlc. we get better endings, bioware gets our money. everybody wins.

I agree. It makes much more sense to me then the ending i'm seeing now...

I also liked the idea that the "catylist" was Harbinger in disguise....since it certainly sounds more convincing then having a ............starchild

Unless they go on and annoce they are adding content to the ending of ME3 very quickly after some time when everyone played it......Like what they did recently...=]

4th green from the left. indoctrination is just an attempt to rationalize a very bad story. look at the image. this is what they intended.

half the fans hate the ending and the majority of the other half refuse to believe it happened.

There is always that, that the indoc theory is just a a coincidence. But if BW grabs that advantage and makes ME3 ending an indoc, then I'm willing to deal with it.

Of course, writing a plothole-ridden mess that provides no closure would have the same effect and would be just as bad a strategy, so I can hardly accept that as evidence that IT is not intended.
