This whole sequence is quite good for romanced Steve. But fails completely for friendship path-Steve. Even dimishes the impact if Steve is romanced by Shep (since you get the same lines). Three more lines of text would improve that.Haasth wrote...

Anything for you.
For me, however, EVERYTHING Jacob said in ME3. Especially his line about "you love only your job, you'll never settle like us normal folks bla-bla-bla" on the mission to save Cerberus' scientists... I wanted to renegade punch him. And then pour some alcohol or peroxide on his wound and leave him on that planet. The nerve, how does he even dare to judge someone he knows only for a couple of months. He's simply rude. M.

This +1000. I wanted a reply like "What the hell are you talking about? You barely know me!"

First of all, that's not something a Paragon Shepard would say. Secondly, Mark Meer's delivery of that line is the worst in the game. Jennifer Hale's delivery is better (of course) but still not that great.

Right. because a paragon needs to be sympathetic towards someone that his treason is only dwarfed by his stupidity?!
I don't think so.

As for me, I found myself face-palming more than once.
Although, I think that jenifer hale is alot better in that regard, simply because her delivery is just so much better than meer's, so even those lines that are just... bad, are simply better.

A Paragon wouldn't need to be sympathetic, but there's a big difference between calling someone an idiot, and using the equivalent of a racial epithet in the process.

At one of their all-exclusive Reaper Tea Parties of course. That's our motive for accepting the role of the reapers - sitting in dark space for 50,000 years awkwardly grasping tea cups with our tentacle-leg-weapon doohickies and comparing which race had the biggest average penis size.

It's not a line that is supposed to be politically correct, It's a line where shap is giving voice to his frustration
in the face of the most twisted logic that ever existed.
Well, almost the most twisted... he got himself some competition at the end...

Eh, as stated, my Shepard had been a huge advocate of treating everyone properly, no matter what species. Her exclamation wasn't indicative of a problem with the individual, but with the species. It didn't suit the character I'd played in the slightest.
