I admit, it's nice to hear that. I've always liked Tali. But I couldn't help myself in 3.. I just kind of started not liking her. I felt like her and Liara were being forced on me. I felt they should've been off doing much more important things. 

And on top of that, it was almost like i was being forced away from my LI: Jack.

I like Tali. I think she is sweet and kinda cute in her personality (of course). But she is an ADMIRAL in ME3. Why does she remain on the Normandy after the war is over? The leaders of her people, last time I checked, are... admirals, correct? Then why does she think she can just remain on the Normandy? This bothered me to all hell when I played through the game. I mean. Seriously?

Again. I really like Tali. One of the better characters in the trilogy but, sheesh... this just felt like a slap to the face.

edit - Though feel I should point out that Talimancers got ridiculously lucky. Kudos to you guys.

Yeah, that's what I was kind of saying. Doesn't make since to me at all. But it's becasue she's popular

I pretty much guarantee that Jack will have DLC content at some point in the year lifespan of ME3.

For the simple reason that they did a redesign of Jack in ME3 which no other character from ME2 got a redesign apart from EDI, Ashley and Kaidan (but they were squad members to compensate). I am certain as well that Bioware would not invest so much time and effort into redesigning Jack (even with drawings in the art book of Jack redesigns) with out having her in more than just Grissom, a scene on Purgatory and a conversation on london.

Another reason is that they put Grissom academy very early on in the game to such an extent it gives a large time frame for Jacks DLC to come into play.

and finally Jack had the most character development out of all of them the others barely got anything except a change of rank or leaving cerberus.

the only issue I can see with this is that Bioware will get every single fan club of characters from ME2 that are not full squad members in ME3 have some form of DLC missions in the future (of course except for Jacob I doubt anyone wants DLC with him now)

So overall I say Jack is a given, the question is who else from ME2 is getting DLC missions as well?

TomY90 - it seems that she was supposed to be a squad mate since beginning. That's why they did put so much work into her. They probably dropped idea because she is not the most popular character and as they already said they added Tali in ME3 just because of her popularity.

So I'm not sure if they gonna do something about Jack now. I know that I won't just sit and wait for them to do something about Jack. I will keep spam them until they do .

Yeah, I found it really weird that Jack had a page in that small artbook from the CE, when she's barely in the game at all. But that Grissom Academy was available fairly early on in the game never gave me a possible hint of a perfect lock in on future DLC-fix. Thanks for pointing that out. Gives me a little more hope at least.

But after being pretty much convinced that BioWare axed Jack for a Squadmember in favor for Tali... I'm only going to be satisfied if Jack becomes a full Squadmember through DLC. That seems to be the only option if she is ever going to get a proper romance.

And about Jacob. Yeah, I really don't think a lot of people want any more of him after you know what...

I like Tali too. But for me she is to similar to Liara. They are like two sisters:
Both of them are very young. Both of them are nice and kind. Both of them are kinda shy. Both of them had problems with their parents. Tali is tech nerd. Liara is history nerd.

Why two so similar characters are companions in the game, but so many unique character have just 1 or 2 scenes in a whole game? Because many people like such cute, shy nerdy girls. But this way we will end up with army of clones.

Mine wasn't an admiral, and no matter what you do she tells you shes outright sick of her people. It makes sense if you consider it.

For me Tali's and Garrus reasons to join you was the weakest one. But I would not mind that if I would be Taliromancer

But anyway, If Jack has Companion/Romance DLC, then that means that all ME LI's should have DLC so, you've got no chance of that (Unless all ME LI's are in one DLC)

Well all the ME2 love interests deserve more than what they got. No arguments from me on that end of the debate. Not going to turn the thread into a Jack vs Tali debate so I'll just say to each their own on that one.

Some people like nice girls and some like naughty girls. No need to be debate about that, but everyone must admit that there is no any chaotic, rough girl in squad, but fans of nice girls have 3 of them.

I'd go beyond just "naughty". Strong, independent, no nonsense, kick ass and take names spitfire kinda girls. Tali certainly matured over the course of the series and I liked her more by the end of ME3 than I did in 1 or 2 where I found the attitude to be more Shepard-Worship. Ashley just doesnt cut it for that role with me.

Yeah, naughty wasn't best adjective to describe what I meant. Gotham pretty much nailed it.

BioWare already has proven that they can release DLC about one character and completely ignore other one (Liara and VS in ME2). I don't say that it's exactly bad or good thing - I can understand they can't please everyone.

I doubt that we will see DLC about every character from ME2 but some of them will appear in form of DLC for sure. It's easiest money to get.

I just played scene in Prugatory and well...now I don't see even small reason why she don't wanna join Shepard. She said that her students are spread out in various alliance units. So they are in many different places - she even can't be with them. Her main duty is to manage their assignments and I don't see why she can't do this from Normandy. It has a connection with Alliance fleet.

The whole Purgatory scene is rushed. The only decent line in the whole thing being, "God, you make the best mistakes." If they could come up with an excuse for Tali, who was currently an Admiral of the Quarian Fleet to put aside her responsibilities to go run around with Shepard, or Liara trying to double as the Shadow Broker, there is no real excuse for Jack not to drop everything to join up. Others had far more important and time consuming things going but were still able to be at Shepard's side.

Oh really? I don't remember Jack saying that. Now it just feels ridiculous that she doesn't join up with Shepard... or just boards the Normandy without becoming a full Squadmember... What a waste BioWare
